Today I looked through our pictures. I didn’t cry, I smiled. You were a huge part of my life and we had great memories together. I’m happy that we were together, I’m not happy that it ended or how it ended. But, you came into my life for a reason and you left for a reason. And now I’m going to find someone who will stay in my life so a reason.

You’re going to meet someone who invests in you and wholeheartedly cares. You’re going to meet some who is attentive to your needs and wants. You’re going to meet someone who is so clear and bold with their love you will never have to question how they feel about you.

I’m always soft for you, that’s the problem. You could come knocking on my door five years from now and I would open my arms wider and say ‘come here, it’s been too long, it felt like home with you.

I want someone to tell me that they won’t leave. That I’m worth more than being left behind.
