That bike almost when for a dip in the sea. Waves came out of nowhere, we barely had few seconds, tu push it 10 meters away from the highly corrosif waves. In this shot they look tiny, but in reality they were waaay bigger and waaay faster. Fir those who ows motorcycles, they now how salty water can destroy the outside and especially the inside of bike. We're not very good with sticking to plans, even with 2 custom cafe racers from @satyacustombikes, we managed to arrive late to beach, but lucky for us we were able to get the last minutes of sun☀️, the ones that give this nice dramatic vibe to every shot. As we drove out of town towards the mountains an early morning in Bali, I glimpsed a temple atop a hill on a curvy road in a cold jungle, there was something about the temple, especially the entrance of it, the two scary statues that welcome the visitors. A beautifully creepy work of art. Some Balinese temples have the craziest statues and carvings of Balinese demons out front, menacing visitors with bulging bug eyes, fangs, long tongues and the scariest expressions. I don't know much about the meaning behind it but in Hindu culture, those statues are gate guardians who protect temples and homes. Most of the time there are two of those statues, placed left and right of gates. Contrasts are used to describe that everything in life has an opposition yin and yang. Sometimes, there is a statue of both an old and a young person or a warrior holding his sword in the right hand and the same warrior holding the sword in the left hand and so on. But it's definitely a form of art that catches my attention every single time, there are thousands of these statues on the island and they are almost all different.
