august 2nd: at their first show of the US leg, in pompano beach, liam's voice gives out partway through the gig. noel takes over and finishes the set (including afaik one of the few times he played one way road live 🤯)
-> fwiw noel plays wonderwall acoustic during this show, which hadn't been on the setlist for a while beforehand. it's hard to determine if it returns to the US gigs regularly afterwards or not
-> that same day in the UK, the evening standard paper publishes an interview with sara about her relationship with noel
august 3rd: noel breaks up with sara, supposedly via the press
-> that morning, noel & liam give this incredibly playful, smug, silly, downright flirtatious joint interview in orlando (extra bits here and here). the delicious vibes between them are particularly interesting in light of noel's hours-old breakup + liam flaking on the previous night's show. (notably, the interviewer, cat deeley, mentions right at the top that the segment is unfortunately only "edited highlights" of the full interview because "the gallaghers and saturday mornings just don't mix," aka presumably they showed up late/hungover/drunk and said or did some whack shit that had to be cut??)

august 5th: during their gig at the tabernacle in atlanta, liam gives noel a very tender-looking neck nuzzle/bum grope/cuddle

august 11th: during their gig at the roseland ballroom in nyc, liam gives noel a bouquet of flowers onstage after noel complains jokingly (but not really) that he'd barely gotten any sympathy from anyone about the car crash ("not just a pretty face 😊" says liam of himself)
IN CONCLUSION, my spurious conjecture is as follows:
-> sara steals noel's passport in a deranged attempt to make him stay home from the tour; noel spends the entire flight to the US in a spiraling rage
-> as soon as they land, he hits the hotel bar; a few hours later, he shows up at liam's room in a distraught, drunken, sorry state
-> they stay up all night getting wasted, fucking (maybe for the first time in a long while), and mutually shittalking sara, with noel concluding that he's going to break up with her, stay with liam&oasis 4ever, them against the world, women can't be trusted, your brother is the only one you've really got, etc
-> the next night, liam's unrested voice (with only six days between this leg of the tour and the prior UK leg, btw) shits the bed; noel doesn't get too pressed about this, since he was the one who kept liam awake smoking, drinking, and bitching all night
-> sara's article comes out, providing the final and perhaps unnecessary nail in the coffin of her relationship with noel; maybe noel has already officially informed her of their breakup at this point, maybe not
-> noel&liam give their post-coital, slightly manic, freshly codependent interview, then probably go back upstairs to their hotel room and fuck a bunch more. (as bal once said in the groupchat, these are the vibes when noel is currently allowing liam to Give It to him)
-> the following day, riding high on a potent cocktail of drugs both illegal and neurochemical, liam gives noel that very friendly onstage grope&squeeze in atlanta
-> the smitten behaviour continue through noel's scary car crash and into liam giving him flowers (which for the record he has said he does not usually give his romantic partners due to his terrible allergies--what an act of love!)
-> by december (or possibly earlier), noel and sara are back together, presumably cementing her in liam's mind as the ultimate brotherstealing villain who ruins everything
-> in sara's vogue interview from 2020, she cites her and noel's 2002 breakup as the initiating cause of liam's dislike of her
-> in 2018, due to the escalation of hostilities between himself and sara, liam is stewing on the events of this brief glorious period, the last that was Just Him & Noel before sara came back into the picture for good (whereupon liam died of a broken heart because noel told him that he loved her more)
-> he tweets that accusation toward sara about the passport, and writes one of us
-> then, well....... we know how everything turns out after that :)
-> there is probably a lot more stuff following on from this, but that's all i've got for the moment. 2002 is one of their most famous loved up periods, so there are surely many more dots to connect
