Tell me about nyla and yarn in bedroom and attic. Also box girl in living room if it's not too much
How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines)The two usually have their own beds across from each other, though often they’ll sleep together. Usually they curl up into a fetal position when they sleep, and they can be found napping in awkward uncomfortable-looking positions. They don’t have a set time they go to bed- they sleep a lot more than an average child, and they have a habit of just napping wherever, so long as the other is close-by. Of note, Nyla has some nighttime issues (wheezing, thumbsucking, etc), while Yarn might tend to wander in her sleep. They also always need to sleep with a night light, or some kind of light, as they’re too nervous to sleep in pitch darkness.
What are their pyjamas like?Most of what they wear can be considered pajamas (they call ‘em Jammies). Their go-to jammies are their default wear- a white wool nightgown for Yarn, and a black nylon nightgown for Nyla along with purple nylon tights. They also wear footie pajamas (Yarn prefers them over Nyla, though they both like to “skate” in them). Yarn tends to borrow other people’s clothes for pajamas, usually long shirts or gowns, while Nyla owns a few sets with prints on them. They’re mostly shades of purple and pink.
What do they dream about usually?Ohh boy. Well, these two are quite interesting with their dreams. Yarn’s dreams are very lucid, and are very easy to wander around in. They tend to focus on flowers and scenery she’s familiar with. Nyla’s dreams, meanwhile, are more emotional feeling, tense, and nightmare-ish, with a focus on her fears and insecurities.
But the thing is, depending on how close they are effects their dreams. If they’re too far apart (say, out of earshot), then Yarn will be lost in a void of dreams and is almost impossible to wake up. Nyla, meanwhile, will be restless with night terrors and be very distressed. In, say, the same room, the dreams balance out, and they become basic dreams. And if they’re in contact, or in the same bed, they can blend their dreams together. For Nyla, she has control and is able to explore the dreams in confidence. But for Yarn… Well, her imagination gets a taste of Nyla’s darkness. But at least they’re able to explore them together.
How neat/tidy is this character?They aren’t the neatest pair, for sure- clothes all over the floor, losing things all the time… Yarn tends to be a tad tidier than Nyla, I’d say, but they’re both just messy kids.
How affectionate is this character?With each other? They’re attached at the hip. They’re each other’s worlds. With others? Well, Yarn is harder to read how she feels about people, but she does what she’s told. Nyla is more of a misanthrope- if you aren’t Yarn, she probably doesn’t like you at all.
What is the character afraid of?Nyla and Yarn are children with many insecurities of a child. For both of them, though, I’d say what they fear most is the dark- they’re paralyzingly terrified of the dark. Of course, deep down, they also really fear losing each other. you&me itself will be focusing on ten fears they have.
How do they deal with bad memories?Hmmm~ I suppose they bury them into their dreams.
What is this character’s role in a horror movie?Yarn is the pure snowflake you wish nothing bad upon. Nyla’s probably the one who unleashes the terrible evil in the first place.
How do they hide their secrets?Hmmm~ Yarn probably doesn’t have many secrets to hide, or at least the ability to hide them, but Nyla’s the type who’ll simply deny anything and stuff her dirty laundry under her mattress.
Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?Hmmm. In my opinion, I relate them both to Sloth. Nyla can fit a lot of them, though.
And ohhh, Box girl~ She’ll be a bit harder to peg down with these.
How does the character spend weekends?As she does everyday- following the beat of her own drum and making others laugh, or relaxing on a rooftop reflecting on things.
What kind of movies does the character watch?Comedies, cartoons, slapstick kinda things.
What do they do with friends?She’s an entertainer, so she’ll always try to make them laugh- even when they don’t want to.
What’s their favourite pasttime?Daydreaming and making cardboard crafts
What’s their favourite TV show/Film?That one, that silly one, y'know what I’m saying? That one.
