Hi 👹👹👹
Today I'm sharing something... a little different from my usual content!
Yes! It's Rhett from Puzzleheads! A small drawing from a comic I'm working on.
I have to confess that I absolutely love the webtoon and the creator's art. The story is beautiful, and I love that—despite having incredible humor—it also maintains a serious tone and deals with heavy themes.
I managed to find a little free time to draw in between my midterms 😭; that’s why I haven’t been very active. Malditos estudios, como si sirvieran de algo en la vida💔
Николай на Красной площади в дни празднования 300-летития Дома Романовых. 1913г.
May 24, 1913, Tsar Nicholas II parades through Red Square as Imperial Russia celebrates 300 years of dynastic rule by the Romanovs.
1913 marked the 300th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty . The date was widely celebrated all across the country, including in St. Petersburg (then the capital of the empire) and Moscow. In May, big festivities, including a religious procession, were held across the Moscow center and on the Red Square.
More than 250.000 people filled the streets to catch a glimpse of the “Batushka-Tsar”. He was the supreme comander of the Armed Forces, head of the Russian Orthodox Church and sovereign of 150 million souls.
About the festivities, Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna said: “Wherever we went, we met with manifestations of loyalty bordering on wildness. In some of the towns I would see artisans and workmen falling down to kiss his shadow as we passed. Cheers were deafening. Nobody seeing those enthusiastic crowds, could have imagined that in less than four years Nicky’s very name would be spattered with mud and hatred.” [Source]
