Yoona was far from an early riser. On most days it took a freight train and a half to wake her up. However, this morning she found herself in a surprisingly conscious state. Equally surprising– she also found herself in front of the kitchen entrance. Blearily blinking her eyes, Yoona looked around her surroundings. The marble countertop was bathed in sun from a nearby window, and the light glinting off its surface was making her squint. But a bigger, more prominent factor was pulling Yoona closer still. She sniffed the air. Warm croissants and freshly brewed coffee. A sleepy smile spread across her features, it smelled like home. Her trance was broken at the sound of another voice. Shocked, Yoona stepped on the back of her pant leg and fell down with a small cry.

With the fact he hadn't expected anyone to be up just yet and the girl's sudden fall, Seobin was frozen in shock. The girl's fall took a couple of seconds to register in his mind; when it did, Seobin rushed to her side. ''Yah-'',he started with an angry growl, ''What are you doing?'' He could understand if the girl was sleepy but the fall seemed painfull enough; Seobin was worried. He calmed himself down slightly, putting priority on wether she had injuries or not. He helped her up, trying to spot injuries at the same time. ''Are you hurt?'', he asked, looking the girl straight in the eyes.

The girl smiled as soon as the boy did all of his introduction (bowing afterwards as well). Sure, Sowon’s presentation was basically what the other one was supposed to say but the thing was that she was in no way possible used to that type of situations making her ramble and say things she’s not supposed to. ‘’It’s a pleasure to meet you Seobin.’’, the girl said while giving him a smile, ‘’Please come in, feel like home. Do you need me to help you with something?’’, Sowon added while looking down at the luggage the other was carrying.

With a smile, he moved past her to enter the house. He immediately spotted one of the cameras and sighed. That was what was waiting for him 24/7 now; while he was slightly regretting his decisions, he tried not to show it. ''It's a pleasure as well. I didn't expect to be welcomed in such a friendly way.'', he said with a smile. Truthfully, he was quite happy he hadn't ended up face to face with the young CEO just yet; how awkward would've it been to meet your half brother in such a way? ''Help?'', he repeated while looking at his luggages and then, around the room. ''Well, you could help me find my room..?''

“I suppose you’re right.” She hummed, following him towards his room, but stopping at the door way. Miyeon was admittedly surprised that he’d found his way on his own. Though she had to remember that this guy was a lot smarter than herself (it most likely not being luck that had granted him admission into Seoul U). “I’m just a few doors down if you ever feel like bothering me…but I do have two other roommates.” The girl laughed, but her mouth quickly formed itself into a pout at his teasing. “The first thing you should know is that I’m not a pervert. I am far too cute for that.” At her last words, Miyeon easily reformed an infamous toothy grin of hers at the man.

''I'm always right'', he replied. ''Well..mostly right.'' While he was confident in his knowledge, he knew not to be arrogant; it was hard work that made him be who he was today. ''Two roommates? I'll just have to be real sneaky.'', he said while grinning. Truthfully, Seobin probably won't ever go near the room, just because. With cameras all around, sneakily going to a girl's room probably wasn't the best idea. ''Right of course, you're too cute for that.'', he repeated, chuckling. He opened his luggages and mentionned for the girl to come closer. ''Come on, time to dirty your hands.''

It hadn't been long since Seobin had moved in the roommate house but, he could already be found in the kitchen preparing some pastries and making coffee for when his roommates woke up. Normally, he would still be sleeping or maybe studying last minute before an exam but since it was his first day at the house, he wanted to do something that would make everyone more friendly with him. A bit manipulative but it works like a charm. He was finishing up the croissants when he noticed a girl from the corner of his eyes. With a grin, he let go of what he was doing and turned around; as to give his attention to her. ''Good morning. May I help you?''

Sowon was not used to receive people at home without knowing they’d come but the thing is that she was now in a reality show where newbies could enter at anytime without any warning. The girl was not good at those type of things, not to talk that she was definitely not used at the type of things she was facing in the show. As soon as the knocks on the door were “catched” by the other’s ears, her legs start moving towards the door, without even thinking, Sowon opened the door to be facing an unknown guy. It was obvious that he was a roommate and that could be seen because of the some luggages that he had in his hand. ‘’Welcome to the roommate house. I’m Son Sowon, call me Sowon, I’m gonna live with you from now on. Please take care of me.’’, the girl started while giving the other one a smile.

It didn't take long for someone to show up and open the door but the wait seemed endless for Seobin; mostly because he had to endure the cameramen following each of his mouvements. He could finally take a breather as the girl introduced herself. He couldn't help but notice how polite she was, he was glad the girl was the one to welcome him. ''Nice to meet you Sowon. I'm Seobin.'', he said after having waved his right hand slightly as a hello. ''I should be the one saying that shouldn't I?'', he asked. And so, he did. ''I'm gonna live with you from now on, please take care of me.'', he said, grinning as he bowed slightly.

She wasn’t used to being led when showing others around the house, but she didn’t complain. Instead, Miyeon simply followed the man up the stairs, concluding that she’d just correct him in he happened to make the wrong turn. “My room is upstairs– not too far from yours, actually.” New roommates seemed to be joining the girl on the second floor as of late, which was from from a problem to Miyeon. In fact, she found it to be more fun seeing as they’d all be able to socialize a lot easier living on the same floor. At his joke, she simply shook her head with a laugh. “Yah, what do you make me out to be? A pervert?”

When he finally reached the second floor, he realized he didn't know the way. A bit late to realize, yes, but he also noticed that each room had the door's number on it. It sure saved him from looking like an idiot. He walked, approaching his own room as he talked with her. ''Oh really? That's great then. That means we'll get to see each other a lot.'', he said. That's when he spotted the number nine at the end of the hallway; he went directly over there and opened the door. ''A pervert? Well..'', he teased her as he threw his luggage on the only available bed. ''I don't know much about you do I?'', he finished with a bright smile as he turned her way.

It seemed as though he hadn’t quite caught onto her joke (which she was pretty grateful for) and had insisted on apologizing to her once more. Miyeon couldn’t help the smile that overcame her face at his words. “Me too.” The conversation seemed to flow more naturally than any of that night, possibly because she was in an environment most comfortable for her. “Sure! Nine is right upstairs.” She spoke happily, jumping at the offer, always happy to show the new roommates around the house. “Do you need help with any bags?”

He was glad a fellow student had welcomed him; they even had met before, while it was in a weird place, Seobin still knew her. That somehow helped him ajust a bit to the reality that was him being on tv. ''Upstairs? What about your room?'', he asked as he made his way up the stairs, making sure she was following. ''I won't refuse such a good offer.'', he said grinning. ''Although if you see any boxers, I'll kick you out out of embarassement.'' He was trying a joke again.
