`open starter; social creatures
Today of all days had been incredibly busy and overwhelming. There had been an insane amount of documents for Jae-Hyun to read through, with a particularly laser focused attention to detail. This deal was a major victory for him once the ink was dry, but it was also a deal that required razor sharp negotiation back and forth for weeks now. Everything had to be perfect, and Jae-Hyun was not going to let something be slipped in and agreed to unnoticed. But after spending the past ten hours writing emails, reading and signing documents his brain was feeling rather like porridge. Accepting that nothing more could be done today, Jae-Hyun collected his belongings and headed out of the building.
Once he was in the car, he leaned forwards to talk to his driver. "I’m not really feeling like I want to go home right away. I have too much energy, even though I’m so tired." He laughed at the silliness of that statement. He thought for a few moments before tapping the male driver on the shoulder. "Ah, let’s head to the social club, alright? I could use some dinner and interesting things always seem to happen there." Leaning back into the backseat, Jae-Hyun made himself comfortable for the ride. -- After a drive of roughly twenty minutes, the car pulled into a below ground parking garage. The driver exchanged some information with a guardbox at the entrance of the garage and then parked the vehicle in a numbered spot. Jae-Hyun got out of the car, pulling his suit coat over his shoulders on his walk to the elevator. Taking the elevator up to the 3rd floor, he was greeted with a beautifully designed entry way. The hostess confirmed his name and membership before guiding him into the social hall. It was beautifully designed with tasteful dark wood accents and greenery in occasional places. A bar was set up with a variety of expensive and high quality drinks on display, several tables were scattered around with soft comfortable chairs around them in groups of 2, 3 and 4. A few patrons were seated at various tables with a handful at the bar. Mostly it was businessmen, but a few good looking women were also seen sitting with some of them. It wasn’t an extremely exclusive social club, really anyone who could afford the membership would be permitted to join as long as they followed the rules and paid their dues. Many businessmen were members of the club and would have informal meetings or deals worked out there, a few celebrities were listed on the rosters as well due to the fact this club was not especially well known. It was like a really good secret you are in on, it feels special just because it’s a hidden gem. Jae-Hyun enjoyed spending time here both for business and pleasure because the food was incredible, as well as he had been able to make the acquaintance of some rather interesting people he had met there. Some of them became business partners, some were women that he had taken out and shown a good time just to have a night out. The business heir was not really keen on dating, having had a poor experience that left an impact on him only a few years ago. But even he would admit that he enjoyed the company of a beautiful woman to share a meal with. The social club allowed him to interact with others and socialize when he typically wasn’t able to outside of when he was working. It was really a godsend that this place existed, or he might have gone insane from only ever speaking about business. Seating himself at the bar, Jae-Hyun examined the menu showing the special cocktails and menu creations for the day. He took a look around the hall once more before he focused his attention on the menu before him, leisurely taking it all in before he decided what sounded good. Tonight, he would do his best to enjoy himself and relax before things got more intense with the pending business deal.
