* * millianna is the first member of mermaid heel who knew the surface of kagura’s past / / however , the second time that kagura sees millianna was months after their first meeting. wherein t’was the ace’s return after a mission that lasted five months wherein coincidentally during those months , millianna happened to joined mermaid heel. though the ace was stunned , she simply warned the other to not mention anything regarding her brother nor her past to any of the members.
▬▬ at first , kagura didn’t know what to feel about millianna joining the guild. however , she later finds that t’was one of relief. that despite the things that have occurred in the other’s life, she’d find a place to belong in mermaid heel && knowing that she knew her brother and was friends with him , it almost seemed as if “ a part ” of her brother’s life that she wasn’t aware of had managed to survive.
▬▬ millianna at first , perhaps finds kagura’s disposition in the guild rather intimidating compared to the girl who asked of her brother’s whereabouts during their first meeting. however she does finds familiarity in kagura that reminds her subtly of the mermaid’s deceased brother && soon after trust has been formed , she tells kagura of this / / which the ace acknowledges with a nod and a small smile.
▬▬ it was kagura who offered to train millianna && not the other way around , seeing that she had the capability of helping out the girls of mermaid heels. akin to how she trained risley in using gravity magic , when she found out that kagura was a gravity mage / / && although kagura has the tendency to be strict in her training , she does not push millianna too far , especially when she sees that the woman is fatigued. however, she sees the potential in her && believes in her despite what the other may think of her own capabilities.
▬▬ kagura is closest to millianna , arania , and risley in mermaid heel. she calls millianna , milli when they’re alone or within their circle of friends. at times , she’d pair up with milli to a job as part of the other’s training and when the said job is finished , she gives most of the reward to millianna as a ‘ token ’ of how well she did that day.
▬▬ the first time milli tells kagura about the tower of heaven and the things that her brother and children like them had to endure after the hunt , the mermaid didn’t know how to react. simply listening to her talk as she offered a hand for the other to hold when anger and remorse mixes with her nostalgia.
▬▬ millianna is the only person in mermaid heel that calls her by a nickname / / && kagura , though she doesn’t say it , does love millianna like a sister. should anything happen to her friend , the person who would hurt her would surely have broken bones and limbs to pick from the ground after she’s done with them.
▬▬ kagura likes cats and dogs equally however due to millianna’s love for cats && distaste for canines , she humors her and pretends that she favors felines more than the other. and yes , millianna constantly pesters kagura to talk to the master to allow pets in the dorm so she can bring a litter of kittens in her room AND NO , kagura does not agree.
▬▬ kagura does however adopts a cat , which she later on gives to millianna. however due to the dorm rules , milli can only ever see the cat at kagura’s home near the guild.
