Never Take Failure To Heart

I recently started to re-watch JJBA starting from Part 4 in anticipation for the rest of the release of Steel Ball Run in the fall and wanted to draw Kira! I wanted to do a drawing of Kira when I initially watched Part 4 a few years ago but never got around to it. Killer Queen was hard to draw; especially the emblem on it's shoulder 😭.

I started the sketch for this back in the spring of 2024 and kept putting off finishing it. In hindsight, I should've shelved this because I had a lot of difficulties with it. But, I really liked how the background turned out, so, despite my better judgement, I finished it.

I decided last minute to draw something to get it signed by Clifford Chapin for a convention I was attending. I got this done in ~2 days 🥵. I definitely rushed it and took some shortcuts but I'm satisfied with how it turned out. I'm happy I got to meet Clifford Chapin; he was very nice!

You and I Are Polar Opposites rose up in my top 10 romance anime ranks. I love Suzuki and Tani's dynamic, they are so cute. I can't wait for the next season to come out.

I picked up writing for my Dragon Ball Z fanfiction again, as I am determined to finish it. I thought it might be a good idea to remake the cover for it, as the last cover was made in 2017. I spent way too long making the cover logo.

I've been on a Demon Slayer resurgence since Infinity Castle and binge playing the Hinokami Chronicle games. So, when I came across this, I knew I had to draw Shinobu in the pose. I did the majority of the drawing in Procreate, but I did outline it in Clip Studio, which was my first time using it, so I am still getting used to it on my iPad. I am pleased with how this turned out, especially the butterflies.
