There is a project on twitter we have made to thank Kubo-sensei and everyone who worked on the anime
I think all fans of this anime can agree that it was truly groundbreaking and did so many positive things. This anime managed to portray a canon gay couple in a healthy and positive light while also keeping it a sports anime and not yaoi. It normalised gay love and showed that love always wins.
Therefore, we wanted to personally thank Kubo-sensei and all who worked on it in an easy and special way. You can do anything from writing something nice to making a fanart and then posting it with the hashtags #thankyoukubo and/or #ありがおうkubosensei on twitter.
If you don’t have twitter for whatever reason, you can submit what you want to contribute and, with your permission, we will post it onto our main twitter account giving you credit!
