Surprised you couldn’t find where I’m staying despite knowing everything else about me. Cute of you to not include my real name in your letter, scared it might have ended up in someone else’s hands and my identity is out to the public? Don’t be, I’m gonna reveal my identity soon enough. Make my father know exactly who I am.

You’re really quite something I have to admit, having found out who I am. Was it Hawks who helped you? Or maybe I underestimated you, you’re a pro hero after all, even if the whole system is a joke. I am curious though, you say you care about me, yet you continue to work with my father. Funny really, don’t you think?

Thank you for writing back, it was unexpected to see your letter on my pillow. I wish you would have stayed so we could have talked in person, but I’ll respect your space.

I didn’t know you were planning on going public with your identity. I have to admit, the entire idea does sound alarming and your ‘warning’ is, not ideal to say the least. We always talked about what we would do when the day comes that we stand on opposite sides of the battle field, and by the sound of it, that day is coming faster then I thought.

You’re right, it does sound ridiculous when I say I love care about you, and continue to work with your father. I simply haven’t been able to come so far yet, I’m not entirely sure where my career is heading. I’ve gotten so used to working with Endeavor and Hawks, been in their shadow in a way, but always there. Helping civilians to safety and using my quirk to help as best as I can, they’re my safety net, I guess. You’re right, continuing to work with him is a mistake. But you have to understand Touya, it’s more complicating than just ‘stop working with him’. I’ll figure it out, I promise, please just give me time.

Your notes are so short Touya, and you still won’t see me in person, please, I need to see you. I seriously can’t take this anymore, us tip-toeing around our…well whatever we are. You’re even harder to read through your scribbles and wrinkled paper you leave on my pillow. I hate to confess through a letter, especially during times like these when the entire country is anxious. But I feel like I’m losing you, for real this time.

Touya I love like you, more than a friend. It became so much more than just a ‘hero-villain friendship’. You become apart of my life, apart of my routine. I would wait everyday by my window, just to see if you would come by and sneak into my apartment. I would make your favorite meals, just in case you came by and were hungry. My life was finally exciting, I was looking forward to something, to just see or hear you. You weren’t just a broken villain to me Touya, you were everything.

I wish you would have told me about your plans, I wish you would have told me everything about you. And I know that’s a selfish thought, but the whispers in the hero community are starting to freak me out. Touya you have no idea what you’re up against, and I’m afraid I won’t be able to save you this time.

So the hero fell for the villain, huh? Typical, feels like some cheesy trope from a movie. I would go as far as to call you pathetic, the way you talk about me. You have so much to live for, yet seeing me excited you. Must have been one boring life you lived before me.

I’m sorry. Wow, feels weird even writing it down. I’ll hand you this ‘letter’ myself, before the league attacks. I want you to know, I don’t intend surviving this fight, although if you’re reading this, it means I’m already dead. Not like you’ll have time to read a stupid letter before having to fight to survive lol.

I want you to know that this is the way I want to go. By killing him. My quirk will destroy my body Y/n, and I don’t want you to see that. My body, destroyed and burnt to pieces. I may be a villain, but even I have a heart, and I don’t want your last memory of me to be a corpse. So instead, think of our happy memories. The nights we sat on your roof and smoked, or when you taught me how to meditate and we ended up laughing for hours, or even the time we went to 7-11 undercover so no one would know it’s us and ended up buying those damn good iced coffee’s.

We were never meant to be Y/n, doomed from the start actually. From the moment you decided to save me instead of turning me in to the police and putting me behind bars. You’re a fool, so stupid. Fuck, I really hate you, you know? “Viktor no” a sigh slips past your lips as you hold him down by the shoulders, making sure Viktor didn’t get up from the bed. The room dimly lit by a few candles and the moon shining from between the curtains. “It’s late—”

“Jayce is probably there”

“So you’d rather spend time with Jayce than me?”

“No that’s not what I said, it’s the hextech”

Your eyebrows furrow and fingers stop working on his shoulders. “You’d rather spend time working on hextech then spend time with me then”

He could hear the hurt in your voice and regretted his words. This wasn’t the first time you two had discussed the lack of time you spent together as a couple. Yes you saw each other at the lab every day, but it wasn’t like you were spending time with your boyfriend, it was spending time with your co-worker. “That’s not what I meant, and you know that” Viktor looks over his shoulder at you, leaning his forehead against yours. “I just feel restless…”

You knew that, you always paid more attention to Viktor than anyone else. It wasn’t because of his condition or anything , your gaze often just naturally wandered over to the pretty man. It was hard to take your eyes off of him, so you always saw the change of body language, knowing when he feels restless. “I know a way you could relax…since this massage clearly isn’t helping”

“Are you…joining me?” Viktor asked softly, leaning on his cane as he looked down at the bathtub. A few bubbles covering the surface of the warm water.

You light the last candle, placing it by the sink before turning to him. “If you want”

“I want” was all he said, letting his cane lean against the counter as he started to undress. Feeling your soft hands graze his skin as you help him, not like he necessarily needed the help to undress, but it was much appreciated. Today was just one of those days where everything seemed dull and dark, his body and mind both tired and restless at the same time.

With a little more help, Viktor sunk into the warm water of the bathtub, eyes closing as his mind wanders back to hextech. “I should be at the lab…”

“I will drown you”

A small smile spreads to his lips as he cracks open his eye to watch you undress. His beautiful significant other, the person who had stuck with him through everything. Who puts up with him and his stubbornness every single day and turned it into something amusing instead. “You’re beautiful” he mumbles, the words said in his accent seemed to have an even bigger effect on you.

Clearing your throat to pretend like nothing, you slip into the water. Sitting on the opposite side of the tub, knees held to your chest due to the small space. “We need to get a bigger bathtub” you say after watching some of the water spill over the edge.

Viktor had closed his eyes again, the tips of his hairs also submerged in the water. He felt light, and warm. It helped soothe his aches and pains, even if it was only a little, it was enough to make him feel more laid back than usual.

Finding a wash cloth and some soap, you gently start to rub it against Viktor’s skin. Starting with his shoulders, you lift his arms slightly to make sure you get every part of his body. You knew Viktor liked when you did this, the smell of your body wash and the gentle touch against his skin was always comforting.

But it wasn’t enough, wasn’t intimate enough. Discarding the washcloth, you decided to use your hands only. Skin to skin contact, to feel his muscles and skin against your fingertips. The soap making little bubbles float to the surface of the water, covering up his bare body. Some of the bubbles getting stuck to his neck and chin, glistening in the flickering lights of the candles.

“You okay?” You ask, just in case. He hadn’t said anything and his eyes had been closed the entire time. The sound of his soft breathing and water droplets filling the room.

He opens his eyes slowly, golden brown eyes meeting yours. Eyelashes wet due to the steam. “Yes” he answered simply, lifting his arms out of the water and tracing his slender hands across your chest and stomach. Innocent and soft touches against your skin, he pulled you closer to him. Not satisfied until you laid down between his legs. “I want to stay like this…you must be tired too”

He was right, you were tired, you just didn’t seem to realize until you felt how comfortable it was to lay against your boyfriend. You settle between his thighs and get into a more comfortable position, back rested against his chest. Viktor’s arms circling around your waist, holding you close and making sure you don’t slip underneath the surface of the water. His chin resting on top of your head, your body felt so soft and warm against his.

When Viktor first moved to Piltover he never understood the pleasure in taking a bath. To simply sit and soak in the water when there was so much else to do. But his whole perspective changed when he started dating you. You changed him, made his life easier, made his life brighter. As much as he wants to work at the lab, to build hextech into something that can help people, you made him realize that’s not all his life is about. So he tries to soak up every moment he has with you, and baths became a frequent routine in your relationship.

“Vik, did you fall asleep?” You chuckle softly, hearing how his breath slowed and how his arms loosened around your body. “We are going to turn into raisins if we stay here any longer, come on mister scientist”

Viktor groans, mumbling something under his breath as you force him out of the tub. Though he had to admit the water was starting to get a little too cold for his liking. And even if he would have preferred to stay a little longer, he couldn’t fight his smile as you tease him about his grumpiness.

“Do you enjoy making fun of a burnt out scientist, hm?” He teases back, throwing his towel over your head before starting to make a move to the bedroom. Still butt-naked, taking only his cane with him, the door to the bathroom wide open as he walks out. “I can feel you staring”

“Shut up!” You yell, though he wasn’t wrong. Taking a few extra seconds to admire his back, the way some water droplets still slid down his skin from the tips of his hairs. It wasn’t a view you could get sick of seeing easily.

After getting ready for bed, you join Viktor in the bedroom, seeing him already lay on the bed. Covers pulled up to his chin and eyes closed, though you knew he wasn’t asleep, his little snores were hard to miss.

“Oh to be a pretty sleeper”

Viktor only smiles sleepily, feeling the bed dip underneath your weight. He didn’t have to open his eyes or do anything, you naturally moved between his arms, molding to his body like a puzzle piece.

“So the bath helped you relax?”

“It does every time”

“Mmm good” you nuzzle into his neck, breathing in the scent of your body wash. His skin still a little damp and warm, some of the wet strands of his hair sticking to your forehead. You could feel how Viktor’s body went limp in your embrace after a few seconds. The room filling with his soft snores. If he fell asleep so quickly you knew he wasn’t lying, the bath really did do wonders.

“Goodnight Vik…sleep well my love”

Sebastian Sallow, although you called him Seb. He taught you various things, a few spells he found interesting, how to sneak around the school, how to get better with potions, how to kiss. It wasn’t like it was planned, your confusing relationship with the boy, it kind of just happened.

Not sure if the feelings were real or caused by the adrenaline, it had all happened so fast that one day when the two of you snuck to the astronomy tower. Sebastian pulling you close and kissing you as the cold breeze of the night chilled your burning bodies. The rest was a blur, but that wasn’t the last time an incident like that had happened. Though you did wonder why Sebastian only touched and kissed you whenever the two of you snuck around during late at night.

Tonight was no different. Sebastian’s hand held yours as he pulled you behind a bookshelf in the restricted section of the library. The disillusionment charm fading away, you could see just how close Sebastian was now. His body pressing against yours, chest to chest, pushing you against the bookshelf. “Seb” you breathe, looking up into his eyes, his damn eyes. “I was actually meaning to ask you something—” the words die in your throat, his lips on your neck catching you off guard. It always went like this, you never got any answers from the boy, too addicted to his lips, his body, his scent, to him. “Seb please, let me just…ask you something, we need to talk”

He groaned, pulling away from your neck to look into your eyes. “Talk? Is that really how you want to be spending your time here?” He sounded almost offended, one of his hands had already snuck underneath your shirt, and you could feel the way he squeezed your waist.

“Well, no—”

“Great” he wasted no time, grabbing your chin with his other hand and kissing your lips. You couldn’t resist, like usual, kissing him back. Feeling his soft lips against your own as his tongue quickly entered your mouth, the kiss turning into something much more passionate in seconds.

It took much willpower, but you end up pulling away from the kiss, hands on his shoulders to prevent him from catching you off guard once again. “Dude, seriously”

He smirked at that, finding your way of addressing him amusing. “Dude? Alright darling, what is it you want to tell me?”

“Well, it’s more of a question” you swallow hard, suddenly nervous now that he was actually listening and paying attention. And with his stupid smirk it only made it harder to concentrate. “You started this, the kissing, hooking up and sneaking around. I guess I just…want a label on us”

His smirk fell, a more serious expression replaced on his face. “A label? That is what’s so great about us, about this, we have no label. Do we need one?”

“We don’t need one, but I want one” you explain, hands moving from his shoulders to his neck. Your fingers tangling into the hair by the nape of his neck, pulling him a little closer when you see the change in his demeanor. “Is this just casual hooking up? Friends with benefits? Or do you want something more with me? Because as much as I absolutely love sneaking around with you and doing this, I can’t continue it without knowing what we are”

“…Y/n”

Judging by the tone of his voice, you knew you wouldn’t get the answer you wanted. It was ridiculous, thinking Sebastian Sallow would date you, he didn’t date. Everyone knew this, so why would you be an exception. “Right…gotcha”

A slight panic crosses his face when he feels you start to pull away, tightening his embrace around you to prevent you from leaving. “This doesn’t have to end”

“And what exactly is ‘this’?”

Sebastian stayed quiet, looking between your eyes to try and come up with an excuse, to say anything to please you. But his mouth remained shut and his arms loosened around you. “So this is it? No more hooking up? No more sneaking around? We go back to friends?” Question after question left his lips, he started to realize just what he was losing.

“Were we ever even friends, Sallow?”

Sallow. Hearing you call him by his last name was like a slap to the face. How did he manage to mess up so bad so fast, only a few minutes ago he had you pinned against the bookshelf, kissing you, touching you.

Sebastian doesn’t answer, swallowing hard as he thinks over everything. But his train of thought was quickly interrupted when you hear the all too familiar voice of Peeves.

“Students! In the restricted section!!”

That’s how you and Sebastian ended up in detention the next day, it wasn’t the first time, and it certainly wouldn’t be the last, but safe to say it was the most uncomfortable one by far.

The two of you were tasked to reorganize jars and the countless of ingredients in the potions classroom. No magic allowed, everything had to be done by hand.

Sebastian groans loudly, stretching his arms in the air, feeling the ache in his back after having been hunched over for so long. “Is this how the muggles clean?” He mumbles to himself, though steals a glance your way. You hadn’t talked to him the whole day, sitting with Poppy during class instead of him. You even talked with Ominis, but not him. And he missed it, your presence, your jokes, just hearing your voice.

“I think I’m gonna throw up”

An amused smile appears on his lips, he hadn’t expected that to be the first thing you said to him today, but he’ll take it. “What?” And then it hit him, the smell. He made his way to you, looking over your shoulder to see the open jar on the table in front of you. It smelled like death itself, and looked like a slimy black substance.

“What the bloody hell is that?” Sebastian gags, his arm instinctively wrapping around your waist and pulling you away from the table. Taking several steps backwards until his back hits one of the potion tables.

You cough a few times, covering your nose and mouth with your hand. “I don’t even know how to pronounce it, but we’re supposed transfer into a bigger jar” you explain, handing him the note that Professor Sharp had given you, explaining in detail what you and Sebastian had to do for your detention.

“Why?! It looks completely fine in that jar” he gags again, burying his face into your neck. “Mmm you smell nice, much better”

“Seb!” You can’t help but laugh, pushing him off. “If I have to suffer, so do you!”

Seb. That was a name he was used to, always sounded so sweet and perfect when you spoke it. For a second he completely forgot about your little ‘disagreement’ yesterday. It was as if things went back to normal.

“You’re transferring it”

“Me?! I will actually throw up”

“You’re so dramatic” rolling your eyes and lifting your shirt over your nose, you walk back over to the table. Placing the bigger jar beside the one with the slime in it. “At least help me”

He follows you, dragging his shirt over his nose as well as he reluctantly walks over to you. The shirt doing little to cover up the bad smell.

“Now pour the slime into the bigger jar”

“You need help with that?! You can do it alone!”

“I’ll hold the jar, you pour!”

“Hold the jar?! It’s already on the table why do you need to hold it?!”

“Sebastian Sallow, do as you’re told!”

He groans loudly, wanting you to see just how upset he was, yet he still listened to you. Whatever it took to get the smell away as fast as possible. Sebastian lifts the smaller jar and starts to pour the slimy substance into the bigger one, gagging as he watches the thick consistency drip over the rim.

“Ew why is it bubbling” you take a step back, watching how small bubbles start to pop from the surface of the slime when moved, as if it was expanding when moved to the bigger space.

“Bubbling?!”

As the last of the slime was in the new jar, you quickly shut it and place it at the back of the shelf. Sebastian was gagging again, and you could see the beads of sweat trailing down his forehead. “You are so extra”

He glares, lifting his finger at you to say something, but his expression quickly turns into disgust. “It’s on my hand!” He yells, shaking his in panic. “It’s on my hand!! Help!”

Laughing first, you quickly find paper and grab his wrist, cleaning his fingers. “You’re a toddler, I swear. It amazes me how you’re two completely different people sometimes”

He lets out a relived breath when his hands were clean of the substance, but he can’t help but think over your words. “What do you mean, two different people?”

“Oh uhm” suddenly you were back to the awkwardness between the two of you, no more laughing or joking around. “Doesn’t matter” you say quickly, picking up the notes from Professor Sharp and starting to sort out the other things he had written down.

Sebastian followed after you, placing his hands on the table as he stood behind you. Trapping you between the table and him. “You know I won’t let it go”

You did know, perhaps you knew him too well. Having spent so much time with him outside of class. It wasn’t only hooking up you and Sebastian did when you snuck out, you often just talked about everything and anything. At this point you might know Sebastian even better than Ominis. “It doesn’t matter anymore since, well, we stopped our arrangement or whatever…but I just always found it interesting how you could be so funny and dramatic one minute, and then so intense and intimate the next moment… but that doesn’t matter now. It’s nothing really, just, something I found…funny” you close your eyes, mentally cursing yourself for the way you babble. Not knowing Sebastian found it adoring.

“Turn around”

“No…” you mumble, clutching the notes in your hand. Sebastian’s chest was now pressed against your back, but not in a sensual way, rather in a softer and vulnerable way. His forehead resting at the back of your head, breathing in your shampoo.

“Please”

Who were you to say no to him when he sounded so pleading and soft, it was Sebastian Sallow after all, the boy who had you wrapped around his finger without even knowing it. As you turn around to face him, you regret it immediately. His puppy eyes looking into yours, face so close.

“I’m sorry, for yesterday” his voice was gentle, almost a whisper, a sign that he was being genuine. “I was up all night, thinking about it over and over again. I should have spoken up, should have said how I really feel instead of staying quiet and making you think I don’t want something more”

You stay silent, listening intently to his words, letting him speak his mind. Heart racing in your chest, was this finally the confession you had been waiting for?

“You’ve been a distraction in my life- a good one. I needed someone who I could just, ‘be’ with. To just exist with you. It took my mind off of Anne…and just everything going on in my life. It was so easy, to just be with you. When you asked me what we are, to label it, I panicked”

Your gaze softens, hand going up to cup his soft freckles cheek. Realizing that behind all those walls Sebastian had built, was still just a boy trying to save his sister. “I didn’t realize you felt like that…why did you panic?”

He closed his eyes and leaned into your touch, placing his hand on top of yours. “Because if we start dating, and I mess it up, I would lose you. Turns out I messed up anyways…” he mumbles into your palm, placing a tender kiss to it.

“Seb” a soft giggle passes your lips and you lean forwards. Pressing your forehead to his and pulling him closer. His arms instinctively wrapping around your frame and squeezing you into his embrace. “You didn’t mess up Sebby, it was just a…let’s call it a bump, okay? And we can start fresh now, especially since I know now that you feel the same”

He hums, breathing in your scent. The feeling of your warm body pressed against his felt so right to him. Like two puzzle pieces fitting together. Unfortunately the moment didn’t last long, you both hear the door to the classroom open, knowing it was Professor Sharp coming to check how far you’ve come with the tasks.

You quickly pull away from one another, finding the closest jar or box and pretending to sort it somewhere else.

Thankfully the professor only did a quick scan of the shelves before going into his office, leaving you and Sebastian alone once again.

“Merlins beard, is there nowhere at this school we can have a moment alone?” Sebastian whispers annoyed, though he couldn’t suppress his smile when he heard you laugh.

“Keep working Seb, the faster we get done with the tasks, the faster we can go and have dinner”

“Okay babe”

“Babe?” You ask wide eyed, looking down at Sebastian crouching by the bottom shelf. He looked back up at you with his damn puppy eyes, he knew exactly what he was doing.

“Oh, are we not dating now?”

“I uhm, yeah, whatever, I guess. Shut up!”

“You’re blushing!”

“Am not!”

“You so are!”

“Shut up before I open the jar with black slime again!”

“Anything but that!”

“Want me to do yours too?” You wave the eyeliner in your hand, hoping your excitement could rub off on him as well and he wouldn’t just roll his eyes and leave. “I’ve done it on others before so if you’re worried I’ll mess up, don’t be”

“Oh yeah?” He quirks up an eyebrow, taking the liner from your fingers and opening the cap to inspect it closer. Going as far as smelling it. “Who’s eyeliner have you done before?”

“Oh you know” you take a step closer, hands behind your back and innocently looking up at him. “Just Momo, Mina, Tsuyu” you pause, trying to hide your smirk. “Izuku and Denki”

“Hah?” His eyes grow wider, fingers grabbing your wrist and pulling you along with him to his bed. Swearing and mumbling under his breath of how you should have done it on him first if you wanted to experiment, not two losers like them. Mentioning Izuku worked like a charm every, single, time.

Giggling, you sit down on his lap, feeling the muscles in his thighs flex a little under your weight. You brush some of his soft hairs away from his forehead and use a hair clip to keep them in place. His back was comfortably resting against the headboard, letting you do whatever you wanted to him. He loved moments like this, just the two of you enjoying each others company and not having to do anything special. He could lower his guard and relax for once. Your touch always seemed to calm him down as well, so having you secured in his arms only made his heart flutter more.

“Do you wanna try anything special?” Your voice brought him back to reality, blinking a few times to register what you had just asked him.

“Do whatever you want”

Humming to yourself, you tell him to close his eyes. But before you started your work, you took a couple of seconds just to admire his face. His soft cheeks you always loved to poke whenever his mouth was stuffed with food after a long day of hero work, his slightly chapped lips that always pressed against your forehead before drifting off to sleep, the tip of his nose that was always the victim to your quick kisses he said he hates (obviously a lie).

“You gonna do something or what?!” He blurted out, tired of the waiting. Squeezing your thigh to try and get your attention.

“So impatient” you mumble, placing one hand on his jaw to keep him in place as the other started to work on his left eye. Doing gentle strokes on his eyelid and under his eyes with the tip of the pencil. “Stop moving your eye”

“You’re the one touching it! I can’t do anything about it!” He immediately hissed back, eyebrows furrowed and only making the muscles in his face move more and almost mess up the liner.

You move your hand from his jaw over to his mouth, “just, shhh, I need to concentrate”

Easier said then done, because the next few minutes Katsuki made it impossible. Biting and licking your palm, squeezing your thighs out of the blue that made you jump, saying stupid things like ‘I’m going to sneeze’. He of course thought it was hilarious, didn’t need to see your face to know you had a frown he always found adorable.

“I’m hungry—”

“Kats!” You yell for the tenth time, letting out an annoyed sigh as the eyeliner was put on the bedside table. “I’m done, though it’s definitely some of my worst work” you say as Katsuki opens his eyes again, taking out his phone and using the camera as a mirror.

“Not half bad, but why’s one eye smeared?”

You don’t even say anything, just staring at him with a deadpan expression. Arms folded over your chest as your right eye twitches.

“Quit starin’ at me like that! You’re the one who poked my eyes—”

“Kacchan! Oh, Y/n you’re here too” Izuku opens the door to the dorm room, catching both of you off guard.

“Deku what did I tell you about not knocking?!” One second you’re on Katsuki’s lap, the next you’re thrown on the bed as the mentioned man stands up and walks angrily over to Izuku.

“I’m sorry, I- Kacchan, are you wearing eyeliner?” The green haired boys eyes widen, looking over Katsuki’s shoulder at you “Y/n I’ve always wanted to try some makeup to see if it would suit me, could you do my eyeliner too?” Izuku asks innocently, not realizing why all chaos broke lose after his request.

“You little minx! You told me you had done his eyeliner!” All of Katsuki’s attention was now focused on you, turning on his heel and taking slow steps to the bed. “Now I have this stupid shit all over my eyes for no reason! Get back here! Running is useless!”

You were already out of the room, running past Izuku as fast as you could. Katsuki’s shouting and your giggles filling the UA dorms.
