I wrote this comic back in November, right before Thanksgiving Break. At that time, I was feeling pretty miserable at college. There were some things that I loved and some things that I really did not. I think, for me and many other college freshman, the end of the first semester lets us look back on our college experience so far and sometimes it falls short of our expectations. College is an entirely different experience, and for some people, it’s a difficult transition whether it be academically, socially, or a combination of other factors. I will say though, that since writing this comic, I do feel like things have gotten better. I’ve made more friends, made peace with how I’m doing in my classes, and tried to make the most out of every experience. So I guess, while it’s still a difficult transition, in the end, things do get better.
