The concept of time had escaped you in a way that only happened when someone was numb to the events around them, when an hour felt like a second, and that was exactly what had happened ever since Riko had texted you, demanding your attention in the gym despite how late it was.
While that was unusual, it only settled in that something strange was going on when she had picked you up and skipped the entire way to your destination.
You had spent enough time with the basketball team that their skipping coach was usually bad news.
