although i can rant about how he intentionally uses the "oh well I'm most likely autistic" card as an attempt to justify all his shitty actions because as an autistic (AuDHD actually!) person it really pisses me off. theres a common theme with autistic/ND men being able to get away undeferential and ignorant behaviours under the guise that they dont understand the gravity of what they're doing. of course I don't think being autistic is the cause of most these behaviours as men in general are given more lenience but it's an easy way of shifting responsibility onto something else. I honestly don't even see how him possibly being autistic and having adhd are even relevant to his controversies (well besides the r slur one.) does not being able to grasp tone suddenly make you want to continue chatting up 17 year olds? is it cluelessness that makes you continue being besties with a sexual assaulter or just the lack of a spine?

Dream honestly doesn't get away with as much as he could because people love making fun of him. Mostly for his looks but if he was more attractive not only would he be more relevant but he would also get away with wayyy more. Most of the stuff he gets away with is because he preaches it to his reddit with all the brainwashed stans of his and well no one else is lurking the dreamwastaken subreddit I fear. A good percentage of people who make fun of him don't actually care about what he's actually done wrong; they're not criticizing him, they're making him into a punching bag because it's fun.
