so we moved out of our old apartment a while ago, and our security deposit didn’t cover the damages, so we owed 430 in damages

we didn’t end up having the money for a few months due to expenses from other bills and the expenses of moving into a new apartment, and a few days ago a debt collector called us and we worked out that if we pay by the 25th we won’t get a derogatory mark on our credit score. problem is we ain’t got the money and it seems like due to the VA “restructuring” for the fall semester, we might get our chap 35 payments way later than usual so uh
