I keep writing thousands of words of top-notch fics with prose and characterization unlike ever seen before or making the most detailed drawings and then just hoarding it all to myself. Like these things are finished and you're all starving out there. But posting it is scary :(

But, at least, every time I cringe and want to delete my account, I read all these comments by people saying nice things about how they really liked it and it at least lets me ignore the cringe long enough that I don't immediately take stuff down.

Once upon a time I was playing Powerhouse as Heavy with a friend as Medic and we were killing everyone et cetera but then my Medic friend caught fire so I go to toss him a sandvich, then this low-health Pyro comes around the corner and picks it up and goes "thanks :D" and immediately I fuckin BLAST over the mic "HEY, THAT WASN'T FOR YOOOU!!" like the spirit of Heavy Weapons Guy himself possessed me. I still think about it because this poor guy thought he was being offered health by someone nice and gets yelled at so loud it peaked the mic. In my defense my Medic friend was on fire.

ive been basing so much of my spydad posts off my own french father and then there was that time you compared one of my post to japanese culture, and youve got the headcanon that spy is part japanese. anyway i found out my dads mother was japanese. so i guess im also now a supporter of the spy headcanon lmaooo

I had this whole thing I started writing about what it would be like for Spy in/post WWII France as mixed french/japanese where he struggles with his dual cultures, him being white passing and wanting to hide that he's mixed for obvious reasons, alienating his japanese parent (mother, in this time period) in the process. Plus survivor's guilt about facing racism but having it easier than she does, and not having been put into a concentration camp like what happened in the USA. Then, how that affects his relationship with his family later on and why he becomes a deadbeat.

Anyways, it would've been a beast to write and probably too heavy for just a headcanon I inserted onto TF2, so it never saw the light of day, but that was the idea. :D

They do this in the break room all the time. The nurses are so nice and leave coffee and water for medics in case we're away from base for a long time so I'll go in and they're just doing this in there. I just fill up my thermos and avoid eye contact. Those doctors are such hard asses I'd never expect it but don't ask don't tell I guess.

It pisses me off so unreasonably bad when a character referred to as "Doc" gets universally headcanoned to be a Medical Doctor, like it's a good thing I can just turn off the internet because if it was someone I knew irl I would not be able to stop myself from physical violence

You know how I can be 100% certain any character called "Doc" is NOT an M.D.? Because doctors' egoes are bigger than the battlefield and if you called them such they'd be like "ahem you must refer to me as Sir Warrant Officer Doctor of Cardiothoracic Surgery Mister M. Longbottom Chucklenuts Junior the Third" meanwhile out in a trench somewhere a guy goes "AAUUUGHH FUUUUUUCCKK [gasp] [wet cough] DOOOOOOOOOOCCC" and a corpsman vaults over at inhuman speeds and goes "It's okay! I'm here! I'm gonna get you home!!"
