Uganda: Lesbian facing deportation from UK despite fears of persecution
Lazia Nabbanja had claimed asylum in the UK on the grounds that she would face oppression in her home country, but her bid was rejected by the Home Office last year.
You can donate here to help her out!
coming out resources
Ever since I made this comic, I’ve continued to receive lots of messages for advice on coming out. I can’t always answer these questions, so I decided to put together an inclusive list of LGBTQ+ resources that might help instead. 😊***Remember, coming out is YOUR choice. There is no shame in choosing to not come out. Your safety and well-being comes first.***

Wanted to do some cute designs for my fellow gay + trans friends for pride! We are here and we are strong <3 Also probably going to donate these designs to the youth LGBT organization that helped me when I was younger. They’re gonna be stickers to hand out at pride ^^

Nonbinary people with large bellies, thick thighs, lots of chest fat, back rolls, soft arms, big butts, double chins, and round faces, etc. are always nonbinary.
Fatness does not, and cannot, in any way undermine your nonbinary-ness.
this pride month, please consider helping a gay trans man escape an abusive household in an unsafe town.
im an 18 year old currently living with my parents, who have physically and emotionally abused me for around 6 years. in that time ive been beaten, degraded, and denied food and medical care. aside from appointments and family outings, im rarely allowed to leave the house.
im willing to do almost anything to escape and build a life for myself away from my parents. my life is falling apart before its even starting.
my kofi is here, and you can pm me for my paypal.me link. im also an artist and writer open to taking commissions, which can also be discussed through a pm.
please rb if youre unable to help monetarily.
its pride month n i know everyone’s screaming abt how gay they are n that’s fine! that’s good i love it i love seeing all the lgbt ppl on my dash being vocally lgbt but this post is for those who can’t take pride in their identities, or can’t always take pride in their identities, those who aren’t out irl or at all, who still feel ashamed or angry w themselves or have any other negative emotions surrounding their being lgbt n whom it hurts to see all this pride stuff everywhere
i love u all n i hope things get easier for u, ur not alone in all this n the community supports u even if u don’t feel like u belong
In case anyone needs it today, this link leads to a giant list of things to do when dysphoria is being a bitch.
Help me escape my abusive household
Hi! My name is Sam-Casper! I’m a 17 year trans male, and I need help escaping an abusive environment.
I live in an incredibly toxic household, where I’m constantly targeted by my family. I’m doing my best to get through, but it’s finally become too much, and I know that as soon a I turn 18, I need to get out.
The emotional abuse is rampant in my house, and I try to avoid coming home as much as possible. Everything is constantly my fault (I have watched my grandmother break a plate because she’s upset about her bills and then turn and yell at me for doing it), I’m being attacked by hateful words everyday (r**tarded, tra**y, f*ggot, and bitch are among the favorites), and it’s gotten to the point where they’ll all start to gang up on me together just to upset me for the fun of it. On top of that, they deny everything, saying it never happened and that they never would.
I’m always having to either pawn money off of other people just to pay for my own food, because at this point they’re flat out refusing to. They won’t get me food, punish me for my grades by denying me food (even though ny grades are a result of mental problems they have caused me), and they are doing everything in their power to, if I’m being honest, drive me to failure. On top of that, I’m suffering through depression, anxiety, panoc attacks, and my own autism/adhd with no help at all.
So, I need to get out. Ideally, I could go and stay with a friend I have in Philly, but either way, I’m definitely going to need money. If you could, I would appreciate it so much, because getting out of here is the most important thing in my life right now.

Pride
Pride exists because of a woman.
Pride exists because of a black woman.
Pride exists because of a black trans woman.
Pride exists because of a black trans woman who was a sex worker.
Pride exists because of a black, bisexual trans woman who was a sex worker that threw a brick at a cop.
Pride exists because of a black, bisexual trans woman, who was a sex worker, that threw a brick at a cop and started a riot against the state.
Her name was Marsha P. Johnson.
Don’t lose this month in rainbow capitalism and unabashed racism because of the privilege of being white while queer.
If you aren’t supporting the queer people of color, trans women, and queer sex workers, you aren’t celebrating pride, you are celebrating rainbow capitalism and police brutality.
