â God damn it... â
Shaking off the ink from her blade makes her realize how ANNOYING her life can be sometimes. She just wants a place, a safe spot, to rest for the night. Itâs not that hard to ask for. And yet, somehow, it gets more complicated--because only a few minutes after she begins exploring the first floor of this abandoned building ( from before the Flash, but then again all buildings before that have been abandoned ) on the outskirts of Olathe, the floorboards give way and sheâs stuck underground.
Struggling to find a way back out is proving bothersome, too. Thereâs so much of this weird ink here, too. Her bare feet are covered in it, monsters unlike the ones sheâs seen before are made from it, and it cakes the walls and floors. Whatever this place was, long before the end of the world, itâs...well. Itâs WEIRD.
Buddy pulls off the red skull mask in order to wipe the sweat of her face, sheathing her sword behind her back. Itâs pointless to wear it in doors where sheâs yet to meet a sentient face, and, honestly, the sweatâs starting to irritate her bandages. So, she stuffs the mask back into the bag under her poncho, and looks up...only for her gaze to meet with that of pair of pie cut eyes.
â ...What are you looking at? â She grumbles at the cutout. Sheâs seen them around elsewhere in the studio, all standing stiff and straight in the same form as that...drawn character. âBendy,â or whatever it is. To be honest, they kind of creep her out, especially with that unblinking stare. But she still walks up to it, looking it up and down as if it had the audacity to insult her.
â At least you actually have BOTH of your eyes. â
