im sorry if it may sound a bit weird, but want to talk about f1xssmp? I have been brainstorming this au recently (annd drawing a little bit) and if you have any thoughts about this concept I would love to hear it!

hiiiii !!!!<3<3 not weird or awkward at all omg, this is actually such a fangirl moment for me because i love your art soo much hahah... your rendering is bonkers i truly don’t have words for it ;_; and YES!! i have SO many thoughts hahahaha
ngl i’m so excited to talk to you abt this because it has been occupying my brain ever since i saw your f1flux(f1ux??) and i spent the whole evening yesterday thinking abt where i would put everyone (i can’t explain my reasoning for this but benji was born to be in alpine, and i can imagine cynikka being a track TERROR so put that girl in rbr where she belongs <3). i guess another way of going about it could be making each “state” into a racing team? (mostly because i can see the westhelm fans == the tifosi hahaha, the glory to westhelm chants would go so hard…)
either way, having saparata/fluixon be former teammates is so brilliant. i imagine them being brocedes the type of guys that grew up racing together, went through the feeder series together, did rookie season together, just best best friends in general… until they ended up in the same team. the rivalry 100% tore their friendship apart. the blame is entirely mostly on flux, who’d be the most toxic teammate in history and would throw saps under the bus for a wdc without hesitation. sooo much bad blood, even years later. new fans would be confused because of just how deep the lore runs with these two, and whenever saps has to talk about flux on air you can still see the pain on his face </3
as for schpood…. his eventual retirement was likely not only great news for his (and his team's) blood pressure, but also for whoever is responsible for censoring the driver comms. whenever his radios pop up you know you're either going to hear a stream of expletives or VIOLENT threats upon his rivals (mainly sitzkrieg, but tbh this guy has beef with half the grid) (and his own team, at times)
this guy is a menace, both on and off track. but he's also such a legendary racer (and so extremely entertaining) the FIA couldn't afford booting him. his reign of terror continues even in retirement; having him comment on the races immediately boosts the viewer numbers, even though the network is desperately trying to reign him in because he really should not be saying all that...

omgggg that’s so sweet!! (also are you the one writing multi chapter actors au turnsaps? I LOVE THIS FIC LIKE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE TURNSAPS PIECES! it’s amazing, i genuinely amazed how good all characters are…. I can’t even put into words how invested i am in the plot)

cynnika in red bull is genius, I feel like she has most sassy radios, the slay levels are incomparable (put lingulini in that second red bull seat)
moving to fluxarata, imo they were separated by few years in carting and feeder series. tomflux however, were inseparable. I thought about making tomas engineer and still think about that, but imagine that tomas, while being talented, wasn’t able to move to formula 1 (was it due to lack of sponsors or immense psychological pressure) and retired. He later became extremely successful as a streamer! (I feel like tomas is such a good streamer I hope he gets more mainstream 😭😭) Tomas appears on the race track often to support Flux, most fans already call tomas5200 fluxs wag and boyfriend.
so in my head, saparata debuted in formula extremely yearly, he was barely 19, won almost everything in feeder series, came 3 in formula 2 due to car reliability issues. His driving style is akin to early vettel and norris - unnaturally quick, but lacks w2w skills.
He won his first WDC in merc, the same year Flux debuted with silver arrows. Fluixon was also an immensely talented driver, winning f2 and f3 back to back, showed his sharp mind and ability to race. (fluixons favourite track is red bull ring and japan, while saparata loves netherlands and cota, if you ask tomas what’s his fav track he would say something like ughh I don’t know I haven’t raced in most of them (it’s silverstone))
also put schpood in that Ferrari he need to aura farm (and finish p7) (he has hour long rants about strategy and car aired on live television for whole world to see), when he retires he becomes like the best commentator alongside ish!
also thought on what numbers would they pick to race?

lingulini suffering the second seat curse is hilarious to me… he’s gonna have such a bad time. crashing out over the radio while cyn and some peacekeeper forces him off track and then laughs about it in the cooldown room afterwards...
i feel in my heart that cass belongs in mclaren??? she'd be a beast at COTA, and imo be regarded as like one of the most "clean" racers in general. jophieee i can’t decide on, i waas thinking williams but i think that might be me being biased as a jophie stan and a williams stan (if i may out myself a little here hahaha)
and wait i actually love the idea of thomas having to give it up because of lack of funds... him being from a less bigshot family than the likes of flux and saps, so even though the skill was there he was never given a real shot at it. but then he falls in love with streaming and realizes it’s so much better for him mentally (and seeing the way flux gets after bad races also serves as a reminder). also he lowkey loves the wag-life, he gets to be in the garage chatting up everyone and sometimes he can even give some valuable input!
ooooh numbers… for flux i could imagine something with 5 (X) for branding purposes hahah, or unlucky 13 would be cool too. I like Schpood with 7 because iirc that was like a lucky number back in Ancient Rome. If you’re into tarot you could go for 16 for Saps because it represents the Tower and I find that a little funny…. ;v;

I think sitzkreig should be her teammate? they would have some hostility toward each other and have zero chemistry in front of the cameras, to the point of mcl pr team just giving up and filming individual content with one of them
flux would rock 13… like did you know no driver had 13 longer than (1) one race, let alone win championships? one driver had it for one race and finished 11th and other couldn’t even qualify for the race! He is arrogant enough to think that even if this number would make him unlucky, his talent alone is enough to win championships.
(okay edit there was a guy who raced with 13 in 2015, maldonaldo, he finished 14th in the championship getting 27 points and retired right after)

unc turntapp in cadillac is brilliant… he refuses all media obligations (does he even know what grill the grid is? probably not), does not really do interviews (i think most journalists stays clear of him in fear tbf)– does not care about anything but racing just in general. the cadillac social media admins have given up on getting him to feature in anything because this man has the charisma of a rock </3
and ohhhh my beloved cyncass... ;_; the way to a woman's heart is truly through minecraft yuri!!! in return i offer you some seraphiel
jophiel did a good couple of years in williams; great driver, very beloved etc etc. sera came into the team as a rookie, eager to prove herself and just in general a cutthroat racer. the first season they hit it off SO well, like inseparable truly. but as it eventually became clear that sera was going to remain the number 2 driver as long as she and jophiel were on the same team, relations began to sour. their racing became more and more aggressive to the point that sera got them both into a huuuge accident. jophie’s injuries were unfortunately career-ending, while sera was dropped by the team not long after.
in present-day i imagine jophie to be an analyst or something, maybe as a more level-headed complement to saps and schpoods <3

soo saps/thom/flux are definitely a best friend trio with some really complex dynamics going on between each of them!! mostly because of flux tbh (who's had a childhood so shitty he has zero reference of what a healthy attachent/relationship looks like)...
i have imagined them all to be childhood friends, like child actors that were on the same show and have just been interlinked ever since. the way i see it, thomas and flux have known each other the longest, but when saps and flux met they developed a really intense (probably kind of unhealthy) bond that thomas has been third-wheeling since. i drew a little diagram to illustrate how i think it's like in modern day hahah
i’m not sure how much of this has been conveyed in-fic since everything’s from tapp’s perspective, but this is the reasoning behind flux being more hostile towards tapp (he’s distrusting and insanely overprotective) while thomas couldn’t be more thrilled (he’s under the impression that flux is in love with saps and thinks that this will finally force flux to move on)
