now i dont think reload is BAD by any means and objectively it is an improvement on a gameplay level. but it just feels like it defangs a lot of of persona 3s writing and tone in a way that makes it an overall less interesting story

its so fucking funny when he says this bc it barely even makes sense within the context or flow of the actual conversation and the writers knew it. its like rather than talking to the protagonist hes facing the camera directly and being like btw im bisexual and i was in love with you when you were playing as a guy too i just needed you to know. the writers HAD to make sure you know. even kotone gets confused by this. its so beautiful
