I think the only good thing to come out of societal stereotypes of masculine and feminine is straight ships in media that feel queer because often its about characters in narrative roles that don't fit the stereotype of the gender they present as and hence each part of the relationship reach a point beyond gender and more as a concept or ideal of something and those ships are always so tasty (especially when there's a rivalry/antagonism)
