my hc is that Will doesn't do kisses. like he's the kind of person who only gives hugs at reunions and stuff, and especially after everything with Vecna, he becomes somewhat touch averse. so whenever byler gets together, Mike finds other cute ways to show affection like writing him notes and letters or being verbally affectionate. Will still does love hugs from Mike and becomes acclimated more to physical affection after a few months. but some days or weeks, Will still finds himself having episodes where he's unable to engage in physical affection without having a panic attack, so Mike shows affection in other ways like making him food or playing his favorite movies. :-)

tysm for letting me know abt my settings lol, im totally new to this, so i had no idea. luckily i did fix it.

anyways, ive never thought about an hc like this for Will, and honestly, i really like this idea. it does make a lot of sense, and the affection detail with Mike is adorable. id love to see a post season 5 byler fic with this detail + Will slowly learn how to heal from his trauma.

except THIS is the screensaver in question and let's just say mr wheeler didn't find that very funny at all

maybe he just silently gives the phone back to the student and clears his throat and then walks out of the classroom for a few minutes
