What’s included here?

Almost all of them, basically! To be specific, all of the sprites for:

All the Crystal Gems (Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Steven, Connie and Lion, Bismuth (both outfits), Lapis and Peridot) although I assume that’s self explanatory. Also Greg. does he count? I’m saying he does. Honorary crystal gem.

Hessonite in both outfits.

Pyrope and Demantoid, in both their full body sprites and their screen/tv sprites.

George as well as the final prism boss!

Squaridot (but only the actual squari, in her real physical form, more on that in the “not included” section)

All the town NPCS (The Peridots, Bismuths and Jades respectively)

What’s NOT included?

The other pearls, so Blue and Yellow Pearl + Volleyball.

Squaridot’s drones and her screen/tv sprites.

Essentially— anything with transparent elements. From what I hear the transparency is stored as vertex colors and I can’t figure out how to make it work. The creator of the plugin said the UVs were botched so maybe that had something to do with it? Idk, I’ve got nothing, it’s not my forte

If I could view the models without those elements at all, I could probably wing it and make an attempt at replicating them, but unfortunately, I can’t seem to do that. The transparent elements just show up as flat colors in noesis.

I know the person messing with them was able to get it to show up properly in blender— so there definitely IS a way to do it, but I’m not gonna bother the creator more to basically do the work for me, that’s both against the rules of the resource and obviously just rude LMAOO. They said smthn about opening them in a hex editor to view them in blender which i know jack shit about. So if anyone knows anything about 3D models/ripping them and is willing to take a crack at it let me know HAHA

What did you “clean up”?

Basically, first of all— these are vector images, so they’re made up of lines and points and have some gaps and misplaced pixel colors sometimes. You can even see these in game once in a while if you look hard enough. I basically went through each individual sprite and filled in the gaps and fixed colors where they didn’t belong. Of course I’m not perfect and I’m sure I missed some— But the ones I did miss definitely aren’t noticeable enough to really matter.

Second of all, pearl’s nose texture. It’s easier to visualize so I’ll just put it here.

And last: when you unzip the zip folder, you’ll see two subfolders: “Smoothed” and “Originals_Unsmoothed.” It’s basically exactly what it says on the tin. The originals are all pixel-y, these are almost Exactly what i got from the noesis screenshots aside from fixing the gaps. When you zoom out, they’ll kinda smooth themselves out and your brain fills in the gaps

The “smoothed” ones, I literally just took the final edited sprite and put the csp smooth filter over it. It’s really bare bones and just what CSP decides to spit out, so they aren’t perfect. There are still some jagged edges, and I did add and remove some pixels to make them smoother in certain cases. I also removed some stray pixels on particular unsmoothed sprites that made them look a little wonky, but i did this INCREDIBLY sparingly and only when I really felt it was necessary.

Ex. Lapis’ scared sprite (left is smoothed, right is unsmoothed. you can see some of the jagged edges on the smoothed sprite such as on her waist. That’s just what csp spits out and I can’t be bothered to fix it manually.)

Speaking of pearl, one more random and honestly pointless thing I edited just for myself: Pearl has a laugh sprite that uses the same base as her “Proud_Of_Steven” sprite, with the only difference being her mouth and that the laugh sprite has a peach-toned blush rather than the canon blue tone used in the other sprite. The original one is still included, but I just really wanted to make another edited version of it where the blush is the right color because it mildly irked me LOL
