Making new friends
danika-groverā:
This place was a dream compared to how she had to live when she was outside of the walls. Every moment mattered where you went, what you did, how you handled every choice. She was very relieved for the protection the walls provided. Even if they still needed to watch the walls, this was a lot better.Ā
She kind of absentmindedly looked at the photo again and softly slipped it back into her pocket. She didnāt think it was dumb.Ā āNo, it wasnāt dumb. Itās nice to see people still care about each other, especially within all of this where they might only start to care about their own survival and not so much about others.ā She meant that as a genuine compliment to her character. That was really nice to experience.Ā
āItās nice to meet you Mary, please feel free to call me Dani or Danika, whichever youāre comfortable with.ā And she wasnāt sure how to answer the question.Ā āHeāll always be in my heart and with me. I only hope we find each other again the way I knew him. What about you, are you split off from anyone?ā
Mary rolled her eyes and smirked,Ā ā Letās hope they donāt find out about that because iām pretty sure i would get my ass kicked, i was lucky enough to get inside the walls, i plan on making it.ā she answered it truthfully. Dani was one of the few people Mary talked to in weeks, she was kind of a loner but then again everyone has their moments.Ā
ā Dani sounds nice and i really hope you see him again, you two seem nice together.ā she said,Ā ā Hmmm... no, i was alone when it happened thank God, right?ā she lied, she was alone at the time, but her family was still outside, or not.Ā
