Does anyone else ever wonder how Viren felt about Damien?

Here's the thing - Sarai has been a Crownguard for long enough that Damien almost definitely met Viren and Harrow before he died

And also, potentially, Soren.

Soren, Viren's child with the breathing illness that went on to kill Damien.

Soren, who idolized Sarai and almost certainly found a role model in an older man who shared his struggles.

Soren, who wanted to be a poet after he was paralyzed at 18.

Do you think Viren felt threatened? Jealous? Afraid?

Do you think Damien's death was a factor in Viren's choice to find a "creative solution" to Soren's illness?

We have grown so used to the idea of adult animation being translated to constant swearing and sex and gore onscreen that we have forgotten not all adult animation needs to be like that.

I doubt TDP will go the explicit route‚ if anything‚ what I believe they will do is have less censorship for violent scenes and more direct adult jokes

I would take it as a Final Space like series for example. Final Space is adult but the violent scenes don't go over the top and while sex is aknowledged there aren't any explicit scenes involving it (at least from what I remember.)

Believe me‚ I'm incredibly picky when it comes to adult animation because the overused crudeness‚ sex and violence is tiring‚ the reason when it comes to western animation I tend to stick to animation for kids/teens. For TDK? They won't drop their whimsy‚ they will just stay more centered about the themes rather than trying to catter to kids as well‚ because let's be real‚ from S5 it was clear they have been wanting to go the adult age rate for a while‚ Netflix just wouldn't allow it and they had to censores and add some childish humour a lot of times. (Remember Aaron wanted to add even more stabbing in S5.)

It's clear with the rayllum petplay thing (I can't believe this is a thing) they won't shy away from some stuff. If the baby is theirs maybe they will mention how it was unplanned/an accident for example you know? Something I believe it would have been harder to include with TDP's age rating.

This is a good thing to me‚ a lot of series grow with their audience. People who were 10 watching the first season will be 18-19 (maybe) by the time this series comes out. It also means finding a new audience‚ adults/teens who like this series may check out TDP to know more‚ giving more atention to the franchise as a whole.
