Long before any romantic feelings actually catch, Lucifer realizes one morning that instead of waking up thinking about Lilith and how she's no longer waking up by his side anymore, he now wakes up and immediately starts planning how he's going to annoy the fuck out of Alastor in any way possible that day.
He's actually horrified by the realization that Alastor has become his reason for getting up in the morning.
God Alastor would be so fucking smug, like just insufferable about this.
Correction: Alastor WOULD be smug. If he wasnβt going through the same realization himself. π

Just cuz I like Alastor being a little shit, I'd like to think either the denial period (no I don't like that ducking king I just want to manipulate him so I'll wear this corset that made him run into a wall the other day, this is 100% normal) or he kinda just goes.
