Didn't expect the similarities. But seriously. While I'm sure everything will turn out fine for the most part, at the moment things are looking a little grim.
A few loose thoughts summarized:
The incorporation of celtic elements have always been one of the highlights of the story, so seeing this third arc full of them is no doubt one of its strongest points. Searching for these details related to folklore is also really fun.
Someone said that the woman could be Mannanán's wife, and if that's the case I wonder what's her objetive... Is she also the same person that is sending those creatures over people with fae heritage?
While we will obviously know what happened to the group, it's difficult (to me) to think of a character dying in these chapters. I mean, it could happen, but not so early at least we are not even in the middle of the arc yet and it would be directly tied to the role of the character in the events. I feel that depending of who is it can alter the plot forever.
Looking deep into it, demise in Mahoyome is actually pretty common but also meaningful in different ways. It's ingrained in various backstories and some of them are also the core of certain characters, influencing their point of views, impacting different individuals in personalities or narratives. It's also used in occasions when the character already accomplished their role. Life vs death is also one of the main concepts of the story since the beginning... And that's why the death of a beloved recurrent character (example: Lindel) will really mark a "before and after", since it will affect both the readers and the protagonists in the present.
Long-short-story-> Personally concerned about how would affect Elias and Chise's developments, considering the first has been more humanized and the latter is already full of guilt over what happened in the Sargants' household.
Also concerned about how the conflict between humans and fae will be resolved considering the topic of colonialism, but it's too soon to jump into conclussions, so I will just have it present for later chapters.
On the other hard, Yorimiki truers how are we feeling ⁉️ I swear to god if Yamazaki is trolling us...
Chise's hair is almost reaching her shoulders made me genuinely emotional. Feeling like a parent and all.
I was wondering who was the silhouette on the right in the panel where Chise sees the figures of the Ainsworth family, Stella and the college squad, but I realized it must be Alice. In my delusion it's foreshadowing for my theory about her having dragon blood (lol).
Praying that we get to see another whole different facet of Elias if he happens to not remember anything, the real "being" behind the memories of red, I mean. It would make him really interesting and would challenge his dynamic with Chise, so I'm looking forward to it.
aight hear me out ok. something tickling my brain. WHY did Gabriella put her little hypnosis spell on yori, and WHY has she and Simon been keeping him on such a tight leash since? DO THEY KNOW SOMETHING WE DONT??? why is yori even in England to begin with???? a 12 year old in a foreign country with supposedly no adult supervision??
connecting point: we don't hear much of it, but I'm assuming that a (healthy?) sleigh beggy in whole condition being sold at an auction is kind of like. Big News. Alice and renfred heard about it. the college probably almost definitely heard about it. man even LINDEL heard about it. if that news travelled far, wouldn't it be kind of noteworthy to the japanese sorcery community? like "hey how the hell did a sleigh beggy slip past us and get all the way to fcking England?" (if the knowledge of chises nationality was even available to be known to the public, I guess)
I've always stood by my theory that there is Way More to chises family history than "regular happy family hit misfortune and died 💔". I think yuuki is still out there (i REALLY BELIEVE he never intended to leave chika and chise forever. I think he was held / is being held against his will. and of course baby fumiki would grow up knowing nothing else) and I KNOW!!!!! YAMAZAKI YOU ARENT SUBTLE !!!!!!! THAT YORIMIKI IS REAL!!!!!! and I think whoever is handling yuuki and yorimiki has heard about the japanese sleigh beggy in england and is Very Interested in acquiring her, and so,
the point ive taken way too long to get to: I think yori is bait to lure chise away.

however still does not explain why yori is even there in the first place. NO WAY anyone cares enough about one lazy priest (and his charge which, up until the point of the auction, had been practically completely inactive) to send a 12 year old child unaccompanied to the other side of the globe. im NOT buying it
and upon further consideration id like to believe (yet however i have no proof for, or for the contrary,) that chises appearance at the auction was relatively anonymous. she had her head covered like basically the whole time she was there. and there didnt seem to be any personal information shared until after they were in a private meeting room. watevar 🤷
