2020 Top Nine ♡ ♡ ♡ To some it may look like I did next to nothing last year. But that is absolutely not true. ♡ ♡ ♡ The reason I have so few posts is because I fell back and did the work last year. ♡ ♡ ♡ I didn't obsess over posting every moment to social media. I turned my focus to action and work toward my goals. ♡ ♡ ♡ And I can honestly say that I came further in 2020 than I have in any other year to date. ♡ ♡ ♡ It wasn't without its struggle. But I kept going. ♡ ♡ ♡ And because of that I'm closer to my goals than I've ever been. ♡ ♡ ♡ I may not have wholly reached every intention I set last New Year but I came lightyears toward them. ♡ ♡ ♡ I continue to work toward them. ♡ ♡ ♡ I don't put a time limit on working toward my intentions. I give myself space to do it in my time. And I set intentions rather than resolutions. I also keep them open ended so the Universe can decide how exactly they'll manifest. And I don't give up. I'm consistent in working toward them all year long. Even if I have to take breaks occasionally. ♡ ♡ ♡ Whether it takes me a year or five. It's filled with quotes, challenges, reflections, meditations && self examinations. It's a more interactive approach toward working towards spiritual healing. ♡ ♡ ♡ It's such a wonderful and understated tool. I can't believe I've worked with it as little as I have until now. Moonlight Mint ♡ ♡ ♡ After Sun Lotion Potion by @spirittradingcompany ♡ ♡ ♡ So this is the lotion I mentioned in my stories the other day. It was from a box way way back over a year ago. I was blessed not to get sunburned very much so I still have a tiny bit left for my current situation. Lucky me. ♡ ♡ ♡ I cannot adequately tell you guys how great this after sun lotion is. I have extremely sensitive skin that hates just about everything unless isn't natural. So when I say my skin loves this stuff. I MEAN it loves this stuff. I'm talking a dark red sunburn one day and almost completely healed the next, if not two days later. ♡ ♡ ♡ It keeps your skin moisturized so it doesn't peel. And soothes the burn and pain that comes with it. And makes an otherwise awful sunburn bearable. ♡ ♡ ♡ And it smells absolutely wonderful as well. So it has that good aromatherapy with it as well. ♡ ♡ ♡ A little also goes a long way because of the richness of this particular potion. Hence why I still have some. ♡ ♡ ♡ Just apply directly after sunburn develops and continue applying once a day til burn is healed. ♡ ♡ ♡ Spirit doesn't have this in stock right now. Morning Divination ♡ ♡ ♡ This is definitely a latergram but I still wanted to post it. ♡ ♡ ♡ Hecate REALLY nailed these messages today. And I told her such. ♡ ♡ ♡ Admittedly, when I talk to her these days I feel like I'm profusely sobbing on the inside. And often it feels like I'm going to start doing the same thing externally. ♡ ♡ ♡ The reason? Because I miss her so much. And this brutally honest vulnerability often comes out when she's near. ♡ ♡ ♡ One of the first experiences I had with her, one of those times that made me realize she'd chosen me-- was during a ritual. ♡ ♡ ♡ She appeared before me with out stretched arms and in my mind's eye I saw myself step into them and hug her tightly. I could see myself, again, just break down sobbing in her arms while she held me protectively as I let out all that I'd been holding in. ♡ ♡ ♡ It was so moving, so powerful, and so beautiful that I actually began physically crying. ♡ ♡ ♡ And that's how she's always made me feel... ♡ ♡ ♡ Safe and Loved. ♡ ♡ ♡ Somehow she always just knows. Witch, where you been? ♡ ♡ ♡ I struggle to let myself call what I've been through rock bottom. Could it have been worse? Yes. But then, things usually can be. ♡ ♡ ♡ As stated in my stories when I came back to Insta after an almost two month unplanned hiatus-- I've been through a lot. ♡ ♡ ♡ I'd been at risk for psychotic episode for almost 3 months straight, in total crisis with my mental health, had another MS relapse. ♡ ♡ ♡ And all while having thee worst spiritual crisis after I tried to go back to church JUST to prove to the people there that I wasn't "crazy" or "sick again" or "had gone astray" should they find out about my spiritual truth. Which obviously totally backfired. ♡ ♡ ♡ I felt suffocated-- like I was being shoved back into a box that I didn't fit in anymore. I hated it. I hated how I felt. I hated who I'd become out of peer pressure and fear. ♡ ♡ ♡ It took me what felt like forever. ♡ ♡ ♡ But I slowly started climbing back out of the void I'd fallen into. ♡ ♡ ♡ My health started improving at the pace of a snail, as did my spiritual life. And bit by bit I started to get myself back. ♡ ♡ ♡ To be truthful, I'm STILL getting myself back and I'm STILL getting my power back. Bit by bit. ♡ ♡ ♡ But slowly I'm rising again from the ashes of destruction that the past few months have been. ♡ ♡ ♡ Why do I share this? It's so personal, shouldn't I keep these things to myself? ♡ ♡ ♡ The truth is, because I have many conditions, that make just living feel impossible sometimes. And around social media, there's this facade of perfection that people are so used to. ♡ ♡ ♡ But that's not reality. ♡ ♡ ♡ The reality is, again I burst into flames like the phoenix and again have I slowly started rising from the ashes. Again, I hit rock bottom, but I'm still here. ♡ ♡ ♡ I share this to provide hope that even if you're at the lowest of lows-- you CAN make it through. You can come back from it! ♡ ♡ ♡ And for any witches out there who were raised in a toxic Christian faith that stifled your true nature for most of your life? That still causes you internal conflict? The Broken Isn't Bad Tarot by @broken_isnt_bad ♡ ♡ ♡ She's finally here!! You guys have no idea how excited I was today when I opened the mailbox and this was sitting inside. ♡ ♡ ♡ The story behind this deck is beautiful for me. I had followed Sanda on her journey of creating this deck from the time she started it until she finished it. And she is absolutely one of my favorite artists. ♡ ♡ ♡ When the deck was released I couldn't afford it because of my financial situation so I asked for it for Christmas even though my whole family is Orthodox Christian and don't believe in tarot. It was definitely a longshot but I knew it would sell out before I had the means to purchase it. ♡ ♡ ♡ But then my brother called me about a week later to tell me he didn't know if any of my Christmas presents would be here in time, including the tarot deck. ♡ ♡ ♡ He'd been emailing back and forth extensively with Sanda because he didn't have a working PayPal which was her primary way of payment. ♡ ♡ ♡ Long story short, the three of us figured it out together and today I received my deck. ♡ ♡ ♡ This deck is so so special to me because my brother was the last member of my immediate family to know about my spiritual truth [read: that I'm a witch.] and he was the quickest to accept me. ♡ ♡ ♡ That's what this deck is, it was my brother's way of accepting me, not trying to change me, and supporting me. And for that reason not only is it my favorite deck I currently own but it means more to me than any other deck could. Because it was a gift from my brother. And his way of telling me that he loves me however I come and as he recently told me, "just wants me to be happy." ♡ ♡ ♡ It was truly meant to be because I bonded with the deck immediately. The Queen of Cups was the first card I saw and being a Scorpio, I am very much a Queen of Water. The first reading I did after my quick attunement method was also right on pointe. ♡ ♡ ♡ Thank you again Sanda for EVERYTHING you did to make me getting this deck possible.
