Zeno and Silva

I have beef with the entire Zoldyck family because of how they treated Killua and Alluka. However, I still love Silva and Zeno's dynamic.

Silva talks to his dad like he's a senile old man instead of an assassin who could hold his own against the chairman of the Hunter association. I mean, they are head of the most dangerous family of assassins, but their interactions make it very clear that above all that, they're family first. Not to mention their great teamwork.

I also love their difference in stature. Like Zeno is this small old man, and he'll be like, "Come here, my child," and in walks this literal lion of a man.

Zeno and Netero

Best old man duo that I know of. I like the sense of respect between the two of them. It was also so unexpected for the two of them to work together, but they had such a badass entrance that you don't even question it.

I mean, imagine being so OP that the king of an incredibly strong species automatically respects you both just by looking at you.

Melody and Kurapika

Melody saw Kurapika and was like "damn this twink has issues... he's my friend now. " It also makes me very happy that Kurapika still had support during Yorknew even when he pushed his friend away. Melody was a voice of reason for Kurapika. I was expecting Pika to push her away, which he did at first, but then he opened up and actually made a new friend and ally, so I'm proud.

Meleoron and Knuckle

To be fair, I just think that meleoron basically becoming a backpack is very funny.

The main thing I like of this duo is how well their nen abilities complement each other. Together, they would have taken down a royal guard if Knuckle wouldn't have deactivated APR.

Pariston and Ging

ARGHAGGAHJ I HATE THEM. Everyone who knows these two on a person level dislikes them, for good reason, too. That is what makes them perfect for each other.

The only reason they're sticking together is because they want to annoy each other, and honestly, good for them.

I would much prefer they stay together than have some poor outsider (like Cheadle) have to deal with their bullshit.

They're both mysterious, fickle, and have great influence and power. I also want to gently nudge both in front of a moving train.

So when I found out Hugh Dancy is British, I remember being gobsmacked. I legit said, "Huh?!" And replayed the blooper I was looking at. He does such a good American accent.

Then I got real sad cuz, yknow, British people aren't real 🙁.

It seems other people were as shocked as me, according to my research. So I wanna check here.
