(also yeah this isn't what I normally post but just so you know every now and then I might post about my interests besides my writing)

My little Nevermore rant:

Okay some people might disagree but the last few episodes weren't the greatest. Don't get me wrong, the art is stunning and I'm always up for some Whiteraven but there needs to be more plot.

you should definitely go read it yourself. gives great insight into how nevermore is made. personally (this is my 'this is my opinion' alert), my two takeaways were:

WEBTOON is a horrible company

I know, shocker, but the billion dollar conglomerate is the problem. Red and Flynn have put all of their time into their comics, to the complete detriment of their personal life. Red acknowledges that this is something they've chosen and are okay with, but it's clear WEBTOON doesn't give a shit about the damage their fast schedule and lack of pay has inflicted.

Red really needs to stop reading the comments.

I mean this in the politest of politest things I've ever said to Red, but there are always going to be fans who see artists as nothing but machines. It's a problem that has gotten worse with generative AI. There will always be people speaking down on you, or complaining, and generally being nasty when you're trying your best. Please, please prioritize your mental health and the fact that you know you're a very proud person, and stop reading the comment section.
