eyes fixated on his reflection in a nearby mirror, credence frowned as his hands tucked on his hair. he HATED to look at his own reflection, to be reminded of his looks, but given that his hair started to grow longer here & there, he needed to make a DECISION. “ cut it again or let it grow… ” surprised to hear his own voice, credence hadn’t realized that he had spoken aloud.

Kenna watched the man as he watched his own reflection, studied it even. “I’d say let it grow personally. It may suit you. Although I could be sure. But that is just my opinion. It is after all your hair and you should do whatever you are happiest with.”

“I know that feeling well.” Kenna sighed, suddenly feeling slightly homesick. “I am of noble blood, I never had to queue for anything in Scotland or France. Everything was brought by the servants.” Kenna had never lived at home or in a small town so she couldn’t relate to what the other girl was saying. For her there were manors and castles.

Where will she think we’ve gone? Will she think something happened to us as well?” Kenna was almost hysterical, the news still setting in.

“ is it POSSIBLE you’re not really from our time ? ” rosie asked out loud after studying the female in front of her. it were small details that told her so, things sherlock would be proud of for her to notice as they were OBVIOUS – but her conclusion sounded ridiculous. impossible. she needed clarification & that preferably now.

Kenna was surprised when the question was asked of her. She thought she was blending into the 21st century rather well. She had already adopted their fashion and she had even learnt to use a mobile phone and in the almost year she had been in this time. The girl had also concurred her fear of moving vehicles. “I have no idea what you mean. And certainly no idea how you would come to that conclusion.”

Instantly Kenna the tears threaten to spill from her eyes. Lola had been one of her best friends, and now she was gone. “No. Not Lola. She can’t be. She has to be okay.”
