BIOGRAPHY
Born as Irina Lexington she was adopted into a well established, feared and respected mob family.
She was the youngest daughter, and from an early age was expected to become the obedient wife. Just to be seen and not heard.
Her mother died from a gunshot, aimed for her father. She was never really allowed to grieve because “someone might see.”
Each member had a job to do, her job was to protect the family, legally.
She fell in love with literature and any other form of fiction to escape the reality she of life.
With a sharp tongue that has often gotten her into more trouble than good, she was overall a good girl - but was often too feisty for her own good.
By the time she was 18, she was expected to help a merger by being sold for marriage to the son of another mob family.
Again it wasn’t ideal but she did what she had to in order to protect the family.
Once she became a lawyer she entered the marriage with the motto of loyalty above all.
The relationship was something she never expected for herself, she experienced feelings she didn’t expect.
For a while things were stable, they even welcomed a son.
Then a year later she found out her brother in law and brother were mixed into something. Conflicted between the family who raised her and the family she was legally binded to. She used her degree and expertise to put one brother away and let one go.
After she knew loyalty to the wrong family would result in death or a fate worse than death.
She ran to Cape May and changed her name, taking her son with her. Leaving just a note. “Sorry.”
And while being a single mother definitely wasn’t what she planned or taking him away. Every time she lays her eyes on her baby boy she couldn’t be more in love and is sure that she would be okay.
