People think I’m crazy that I’m still single. That I refuse to be in meaningless relationships to avoid feeling lonely. That I go through life just saying “it is what it is” and that the universe’s timing is always immaculate.

What I always bring it back to is faith. Faith in the universe, in signs , and most importantly everything is due to God’s timing.

Dear Tumblr , I had a pretty good weekend ! My new extensions came in and they make me feel like a total queen 👑. Now looking into a salon to cut and blend them !

Oh ! And I fully got vaccinated for COVID! Don’t wanna share my vaccination card for some reason. But it treated me well. Just a sore arm, and a bit of a runny nose , and a tad head ache. Took no pills for them. Let my body do it’s job!

Also treated myself to a mani and pedi at my favorite nail salon I went to with my sister for Christmas. Felt like a queen indeed. French tips for the win! They just go with anything. Always makes me feel clean, sexy , and taken care off.

And you know a gurl gots to take advantage of the panty sale. 🌹

I also got various plants 🌱 🪴!

The one of the left is a type of Tillandsia, which is most commonly known as an air plant. Most people I’ve seen put it in their cars or in a terrarium or hanging on a wall. I learned that they can grow anywhere- on trees, forrest floors, rocks, hence the name, air plant. However they are not parasitic compared to mistletoes, but they aren’t symbiotic either. They just grow in the most ideal weather.

Apparently, I’m suppose to mist them then hold it in front of a fan so the roots don’t start to rot. Talk about a high maintenance plant. So I just attached it under the hanging plant we already have in the kitchen. Perfect spot if you ask me. I can most it, and since it’s near a window , I can just open it up to air dry and let the wind do the work, isn’t that how nature wanted it.

I also went to my favorite Asian store and I did not expect them to have such a large variety of bamboo. They had swirly ones, tall straight ones, regular ones in every size with luscious leaves all soaking in various types of buckets that would support their heights. She asked me which I wanted and I pointed to a rather big-ish bundle which she said was $20 and I’m like nope, too expensive. Then she pointed and pulled out a smaller bundle and she said $10. I felt like she pulled the price out of her ass. The bundle had a bit of rotten branches but she took those out and replaced them which was sweet of her. She then placed it in a plastic bag , which I’m surprised was water proof! But I’ve stuck it in the cup holder of my car and filled the bag with the left over water I still had in a plastic bottle on my passenger side seat ! She made it home with me! I counted 19 total bamboos in the bunch ! What a steal!

I also got my little garden started on my balcony! Definitely something that makes me feel more feminine being able to care and tend to something. So I bought 2 trays of 🍓! They were 2 for $5! Rosemary, mint, grape 🍅 , and excited to be growing bell peppers for the first time as well!!
