background.
Landon is the older brother to Sanem Reid by approximately 4 years.
The Reidâs traveled around the world for their jobs, exposing their kids to multiple cultures and adventures.
Mother died in an accident, relationship between him and his father became strained.T
Landon has no concept of emotions, or a moral grey area. His thinking is extremely black and white; which made it difficult to make friends.Â
Since they were always traveling, lifelong friendships werenât a big deal to him anyway. He kept his head buried in his studies or in his sketchbook.
After their mother died, they returned to CH for permanent residency. Landon rents an apartment downtown.
His sister Sanem is his best friend. She knows how to get under his skin, and he knows how to irritate her to no end, but he would go to the center of the Earth and back for her.
Allison Pelliser, now Reid, is his sister-in-law, and though they fight often, he has a special spot for her in his heart (but he wonât tell her that).
extras.
He has a Chem-ex and uses it to make his coffee on the weekends, as a special treat.
He is a magician, and will practice his card tricks with Allison.
If he shows you any of his sketches, you are an important person to him. Otherwise, they are locked up and hidden under his bed.

Though Amy had been back in town for quite some time now, there was a sense of adventure that still welled in her system. California was a culture shock, filled with less homely feels, and a lot of nonsense that wrapped itself up in protein shakes and kale in any way one could ingest kale. That was why she was when she saw the flyers plastered around town about the official opening of a year-round farmers market, she couldnât help but be intrigued. She wondered if the spot just happened to have seasonal fruits and vegetables, would they attempt to keep stocking cara cara oranges this close to the beginning of summer time? Walking through the market was also a nice reprieve from the careful schedule she had set for herself. Now that things had the possibility of being moved to virtual settings, she found she was a hot commodity for clients who wanted the option to see her for virtual sessions.
If she didnât have any sessions to tend to in that realm she usually was making her way to good vibes inc. attempting to use one of the smaller offices as an oasis for those who preferred face to face, and then if work wasnât completely consuming her, she found herself being a caretaker for her mother who was slowly forgetting how to go about daily tasks. Grocery shopping was on that list. With a cart in tow, her mind tried its best to focus on the items sheâd need, though the weight of everything had caused her to crash her cart into anotherâs. She blinked slightly before she shook her head in embarrassment. âIâm so sorry, I kind of blanked there for a second, are you okay?âÂ
Apples. Grapes. Flowers. Landon couldnât go anywhere without a list and that included the farmerâs market. A place where a person was supposed to go wherever the wind blew them, and Landon was staring at his notes in his goddamn cell phone. With his basket in tow, he already figured out the fasted route to get his items before returning home.Â
âExcuse me?â his head cocked to the side as he used his free hand to settle the basket that was rocking back and forth against his waist. Hopefully there wouldnât be any scratches there, but that was something he wouldnât discover until he took a shower later that evening. âIâm fine, but I believe itâd be in your best interest to either leave the market or get on the sidewalk where you wonât be such a hazard.âÂ
After a failed meet up with what she presumed to be a catfish of some sort, Cataleya figured to not let the day slip from her hands. The sun was out, clouds were barely blending into the bright blue sky, and she had secured a spot in the park that had just enough terrain to stay away from rambunctious characters - people and animals alike. At least thatâs what she thought sheâd get, as she placed her picnic blanket down and laid atop the argyle pattern. The warmth of the sun kissed her skin in ways that made her feel a form of joy she wasnât used to, this was evident by the small smirk that crept up her lips. But all of that came crashing down when a shadow loomed over her. She opened her eyes to peek up at the bystander, their back turned to her set up. She leaned up on her elbows, chin tutted up in the air. âExcuse me, do you mind moving at least three steps to your right? Youâre blocking the sun.âÂ
Landon didnât frequent the park much, considering there were much more interesting parts of the town to spend time in, but the seller of an old typewriter insisted meeting in a neutral location. It was supposed to be coming with a briefcase as well, hopefully with extra ink ribbons and paper. Landon stood at the latitude and longitude that he had sent the seller, his arms crossed to grant him a better look at his watch. Three minutes late. There didnât appear to be any traffic, but he tried to be more like his sister and give people the benefit of the doubt.Â
He sighed out of annoyance and brows furrowed as someone spoke. Turning back, Landon looked at the woman on the ground and snarled in disgust. Was she joking? The sun was literal lightyears away from them, high in the sky. Standing at a nice 5â˛7âł, there was no way in hell Landon was blocking the sun. âI actually have to stand at this latitude and longitude,â he informed the woman, âHopefully whomever Iâm meeting will be here shortly.â
