“Oh my god, I forgot about that. But no, I kind of forgot that I was cooking and my sauce boiled over and it was just a mess. Sauce everywhere and I’m pretty sure the kitchen still smells like smoke.”

“I almost burned the house down trying to make spaghetti, so I guess I’m never moving out. If I do, I’ll probably be dead in a month!”

“you think so? would you believe that i’vepractically eaten three people today?”

“That’s a lot of people.”

“Oh my god, that dress makes you look so skinny. I’m so jealous.”

“They were cute, weren’t they?” Clary replied, practically smiling from ear to ear as she reminisced. “I could probably pull sone strings and make that happen if you’d like." 

“They were so sweet. I don’t think I’ll ever understand how someone could just abandon their pets,” she shook her head. “I’d really like that actually. Thank you!”

“Personally, I prefer cats, but I’m sure the puppies were cute.”

“I like cats, but I don’t think I could live with one.”

“right ? and you don’t have to worry about your reputation because what happens on vacation stays on vacation. GOD, i bet hawaiian men are on another level too. let’s just fucking do it, what’s stopping us ?”

“It’s so nice being somewhere that literally no one knows you or anything about your family.” She shrugged her shoulders, “Nothing is stopping us. We’re adults we can do whatever the heck we want.”

“tell me about it, do you know how hard it is to get a good tan in new orleans ? fucking impossible. not to mention talking to guys is a joke — how do you know if they want to fuck you or eat you ?”

“Exactly! If it’s not raining, it’s too humid to go outside without suffocating. Guys are like that pretty much everywhere. At least when you meet someone on vacation, you don’t have to worry about running into them at the store a week later. I just want some time away from this place.”

“Is it bad that I really just want to pack all my things and move to Hawaii for two months?”

“I knew there was a reason you’re my favorite.”

“I’m the best, I know.”

“You didn’t happen to mention your favorite sister would also love a puppy, did you?”

“Why else do you think I said I’d take two?”
