Do you think the reason why Chiri died and Hiro has very bad luck is because they aren't soulmates? AKA they didn't get together with their intended partners?

I mean, we're first introduced to Hiro by Rentarou saving him from a near-death experience.

That now has me thinking about the implications of Yaku's husband and Papari. Excluding the fact that the girlfriends are main characters, why would fate make the husband/boyfriend die but not Hahari or Yaku? Is is because they were going to meet Rentarou later in their life? Does that mean the men have encountered their soulmates before meeting Yaku and Hahari, so that's what caused them to die? I don't know the circumstances to Yaku's husband's death, but Papari died of an illness at like 13. That's really unlucky.

Of course, that is assuming that the men even were given soulmates in the first place. (Except that the opening in season 3 of the anime contradicts this but the openings past season 1 are anime-only)
