You Get Their Gangâs Tattoo
-------------------------------------------
A/N - So this is actually based off a reaction I read awhile ago, I think it was Seventeen or maybe NCT but basically the prompt was the moment they fell in love with you or something like that and one of the members had it happen when the s/o was getting the gangs tattoo so I wanted to make that a full reaction. So I just wanted to give credit where it is due, if I can find it or remember where itâs from Iâll link it {here} and if you know what Iâm talking about please share it with me.
You were sat down with your husband, honestly you didnât want to know what would come of it, and after you found out you definitely had strong feelings about it. The worst part came when they told you, you were getting it now, and it was being done by your husband. Great.
âCan I try and kick your ass to get out of it?â You ask, half jokingly. âI mean, you could, but I already beat you once, it would kind of suck to beat the undefeated fighter twice, of course Iâm just thinking about your ego, already damaged that enough, huh?â âWow, so cordial, whoops I mean blunt. But I didnât know what I was getting into then, maybe Iâll be better this time.â âReally? Then letâs do a theoretical before starting, just to see if you want to follow through. When you fight your stance always hinders on your right leg in back, because of that many people think youâd swing first on the right because of momentum but really you shift more towards your back foot to leverage out a heavy left swing, thatâs what gives you your starting edge. Now knowing this I would easily block your left fist before changing the direction of the momentum from the swing to turn you around and pin your arm to your back. From that point I either hold it there, keeping that heavy pressure point between your shoulder blades right, until you say uncle, or I break it and make you scream in pain. Fast or slow. Now what will it be? Fast? Slow? Or maybe youâll stop being an idiot and sit in the damn chair. You made the bet, now time to deal with some of the consequences of marrying me.â You roll your eyes, âFine, But only if you help me fight.â âweâll talk about it later, now where do you want it?â You spend a minute or two finding a good placement for the tattoo before Woojin starts in on it. The pain was bearable but youâve been hit harder. You just suffer through it and in the end it actually turns out looking pretty good.
Youâve seen his tattoo a million times, but yet you ask to see it once more. The ink along the inside of his upper arm was slightly faded from the years that has past since he got it. It wasnât that bad of a tattoo. You thought it looked beautiful. On him. On you? You could only hope. You try a few different spots of where you would want it before finally deciding. You take a seat to where Chan could easily work on the tattoo, anxiety starting to build up inside of you. It was the buzz from the machine that started to tightness in your chest. It was permanent, oh so permanent, but you didnât have a choice. You tried to calm yourself down off your panicked high, really trying to keep it from being noticed by Chan, but it didnât. The buzzing stopped and Chan quickly set down the needle, moving over to quickly check on you. He tries his best to talk you through it and somehow he calms you down enough for you to breathe normally again. After triple checking you were okay and that you were sure you wanted him to tattoo you today before picking up the needle again. He was very slow and methodical as he worked on the tattoo, making sure to keep you calm so it would turn out okay. And in the end it looked beautiful on you, maybe even as beautiful as it looked on Chan.
âWhy did I have to do this?â âBecause itâs our tradition and your now apart of our family so you have to get the tattoo too.â âNo, Iâm sorry, Iâm not talking about the tradition. I was more referring to the fact that my drunken father decided to sign my life away, then I signed a paper agreeing to having my life taken away, now this. No disrespect to your family or anything but like, damn. Iâm honestly so pissed at my dad right now. Like I get he was just trying his best to help our family but... fuck, this just sucks Iâm sorry.â Minho just shrugs, âI get it, I mean I donât exactly get it, but I get that none of this was your choice. It was your dadâs, he decided this was going to be what your life became. Now you have more people telling you what you have to do and now what you have to put on your body. Itâs not ideal, I get that, and itâs also not a normal thing to do, I mean a family tattoo bounding all of us together? I understand it seems ridiculous, but we just want you to belong. I donât know if you really got the fact that... I could of said no. I could have denied you, technically that would have brought more bad to your life than good but, Iâm glad youâre a part of my life, a part of my family, you seem like a genuine person and I like that. Maybe Iâm just selfish that I wanted to keep you so I told my parents Iâd marry you.â You knew that was a lie, you figured he didnât have a choice, you could see it in his eyes. But you needed to believe it, in that moment you needed to believe you were becoming a part of a kind, and admittedly murderous, family. And you had to be okay with that. So you got the tattoo, and it sucked. You couldnât stand to look at it for awhile, but... you were a part of something greater now, and you just had to be okay with it.
âI hope you donât expect to handcuff me, we saw how well that went last time.â You joke. âI mean, I could. But I donât really want to have you struggling while I try to tattoo a straight line, so Iâm going to reason with you.â âWhy? Iâll get it, thatâs no problem.â âReally? I feel a but coming on though.â âWow, what a smart cookie you are, yes Iâll get the tattoo but, you have to get rid of that guy standing guard outside my door at night, itâs just creepy.â âWhy? You donât like Steve? I could always ask another guard to take his place.â âItâs not that, itâs just weird having some guy standing outside my door, I mean you have so much security and so many other guards blocking pretty much every way out, why have one outside my door too? Plus you sleep next door, you could always stop me yourself.â âI mean, all valid points I suppose... fair enough. Iâll call off the guard if you get the tattoo.â He holds out his hand and you take it, shaking his hand. With the deal out of the way you find a spot to place the tattoo and Changbin starts working on it. It stung like a bitch but the end result wasnât that bad. Plus it didnât hurt that once he finished with you he called the guards to tell them they could stop standing outside your room.
Youâve heard crazy traditions and to be fair this is a more mild extreme compared to ones out there and trust me, there are some weird ones. Hyunjin followed through with your familyâs tradition, now it was your turn. You honestly didnât mind the tattoo, it wasnât bad looking, but you just werenât too sure about where to put it. You tried a few spots before landing on one you liked... but you still werenât sure. You were considering switching it when Hyunjin chimes in, âThatâs not a bad spot.â âHuh?â You say, looking back up at him, almost forgetting he was even in the room, âOh yeah, I mean itâs okay...â âI like it, the tattoo would suit you nice there. I mean if you want to try it somewhere else you could but, I honestly think it fits your body pretty perfectly right there.â Hyunjin tells you. You shrug, looking once over at the tattoo again before nodding, âMaybe I will just keep it there.â With that you take your seat and Hyunjin starts on the tattoo. Right before he sets the needle to your skin you stop him. âYou want to move it?â He asks. You shake your head, âno, I But was curious, whereâd you put yours?â Hyunjin sets the needle down before tugging at his shirt to reveal the tattoo on his chest about where his heart was. It looked great on him. âAny more questions?â He asks recovering the tattoo. You shook your head no and he got back to your tattoo. In the end he was right, the tattoo looked great where you decided to put it.
You honestly didnât want to fight it. You just wanted to get the tattoo done and over with. So before Jinsung could even start to say, âyou have to do this.â You weâre already up picking the place to get the tattoo. You find where you want it and sit down so Jinsung can start to tattoo it. Jinsung was working on the tattoo before he asks, âWhy are you so down to do this?â âI mean Iâve really chosen this life, so I might as well just go with it at this point.â âI mean you could, but still itâs just a strong relationship. Thatâs good after all, I mean my whole family has very close ties to each other if you couldnât tell.â âI mean the tattoo is definitely a very permanent way to show your loyalty to each other so itâs gotta come with pretty strong relationships.â âWell honestly if you donât mind my asking, what is your sister like?â This sparks a pretty long conversation while Jinsung tattooed you. Once you guys finished you look over the tattoo and you didnât mind it as much as you thought you would.
You didnât necessarily want the tattoo, but you were worried that if you didnât then you would end back up on the street. I mean, you were already publicly married to a big mafia kid in front of a lot of mafia members... if you got back on the street you could only imagine what would happen to you. You look over the tattoo stencil for a few minutes before starting to figure out where to put it. You couldnât decide. It wasnât a bad tattoo but... you just felt weird trying to find a place to put it on you. âYou okay?â Felix asks. âYeah, I just canât find a spot for this stupid tattoo.â âStupid tattoo?â You are quick to turn around to look at him, trying to backtrack your words, âNo! I donât mean stupid necessarily, itâs a good tattoo; I just... I donât know.â âTell me whatâs on your mind, Iâm not going to get mad.â You let out a sigh, âIâm scared.â âAbout getting the tattoo?â âNo, about not getting the tattoo.â âWhat do you mean?â âI... I donât really want to get it, but Iâm afraid if I donât... you wonât want anything to do with me and youâll kick me out. Which wouldnât be that bad I guess, Iâve lived on the streets before, but now that mafia members know my face...â âYouâre afraid weâre going to throw you out like some trash? How absurd.â âWell I mean, if I donât accept your tradition then-â âthen nothing. You have to accept the tradition, thatâs for sure, but if you donât want to get it now then weâll wait. We wonât throw you out because of it, weâll give you your time to adjust.â He explains. You nod, letting out a small sigh. It stays quiet for a second before you let out a small gasp, turning to take the stencil and put it in a spot you didnât think about before, actually not that mad about the placement. âI think Iâm ready to get the tattoo.â You say. Felix double checks to make sure you are okay with doing it today before placing the stencil down. He starts to tattoo you and before you know it you have a new piece of ink just chilling on your body, and it didnât look that bad.
It seems like everything about you is being chosen by Seungmin and his family. I mean they chose you to be in this family, but they also are making you chose where to get a tattoo that you honestly were super happy about getting. You asked to be alone for a little bit, you just sit with your thoughts and the stencil and figure out everything. You honestly didnât think heâd give you time but he did. You sat with the ideas swirling in your head for a little bit, thinking about all your choices, but honestly there was only one, you had to get this tattoo. You didnât like it, but honestly with all the other crazy things you could handle it. So you find a spot for the tattoo and stick on the stencil. Thatâs where itâs going to be, permanent on your body. Seungmin comes in a few moments later to see you just starting at where the stencil sat on your body. âUmm... thatâs not a bad spot.â He says, trying to break the tension and also alert you of his presence. âYeah, I think I could deal with it being there.â You shrug, moving to take a seat. âYou ready to do this?â âReady as Iâll ever be, I guess.â You shrug. The tattoo wasnât as bad as you once thought it would be, and once it was all done that seemed to be it. You continued with your day, just now with a tattoo.
Youâve seen his tattoo, it wasnât a new thing to see on his body. And you knew this would be coming sooner or later, you knew the tradition that followed in his family. But now, standing here, staring down the tattoo machine and everything, it felt like you heard about it for the first time. It was just a weird intimidation factor that scared you. The tattoo itself wasnât scary, it was more so the fact that this truly meant forever. You loved Jeongin but sometimes you werenât so sure you really fit into his life. âAre you okay?â Jeongin asks, noticing your smile fall. âYeah, I mean... are you sure you want me to get this tattoo?â âDo you not want to get it?â âNo itâs not that, itâs just... I donât exactly fit in with your family and their lifestyle. I was just thinking maybe youâd want someone more... I donât know... dangerous, I guess.â Jeongin letâs out a sigh, âListen, I chose you. I begged my parents to let me be with you. If I didnât want you I would be with someone else, if I didnât want to marry you, Iâd let you be free, but I love you, so Iâm selfish and I keep you. I donât want you to ever question my love for you again because I honestly do love you.â You nod, smiling a bit. âOkay then... letâs get this tattoo on me.â And you didnât have any regrets, you were with the one you loved and the tattoo just felt right now.
