If you ever call a chronically ill person lazy, unmotivated, flaky, or use any negative terms like that in general to describe them…I will make it my life’s mission to find you and smack you across the head.

Don’t pass judgment on someone who is actually in all likelihood the strongest person you know and literally doing everything they can to live a somewhat normal life. It’s not your place. Try being supportive.

2009

I was 96 lbs and sick as a dog dealing with this chrons disease garbage. The medication nearly killed me and made me sick. Finally, I found hope with Remicade. Fast forward to 2012, I was up to 150 lbs. Finally a healthy weight, except the fact I'm 5'0.

2007

It was the worst week of my life. The week before junior year was to end. I was told I had chrons disease (some pretty bad intestinal issues), broke my ankle in a head on collision with my best friend, and had my tonsils out. It was possible the worst week of anyone’s life.
