Velvet ants are not aggressive and will try to escape from you. The females have a very painful sting if handled. The name “Cow Killer Ant” was given to the velvet ant because of the reputation of the female’s sting. It is said that the sting is so painful that it could kill a cow. (Source)

Achile Chatouilleu, the 103 year old embalmed clown on display at the California Institute of Abnormalarts. He was born Feb. 3, 1866 & died of “chronic nephritis” on Jan. 13, 1912. He’s in a hermetically sealed glass coffin, the body itself embalmed with arsenic.

Meet Oscar. He grew up in Steere House Nursing And Rehabilitation Centre. It’s  center for the elderly who are terminally ill or have Parkinsons or Alzheimers disease. Oscar is said to have special powers. He can tell when a patient is going to die and within their final hours will go up to them and curl up with them. Doctors say he challenged everything they’ve learned in medical school.
