Idk about yall but im really satisfied with how Love Affairs in the Afternoon ended. IT COULD'VE BEEN WORSE, AND I WAS ACTUALLY BRACING FOR ITKSDJDJHD but the ending caught me by surprise and I loved it. Some says its an open ending, but I think it differently. You don't have to necessary be physically together with your love partner to deem it as a happy ending. What I depict a happy ending is where the INDIVIDUALS are happy themselves, because ultimately we don't have to depend on others to define YOUR happiness. All of our leads are happier, extricate from what seems like an eternal suffering, and finally soar freely in the sky.
