Anyway I adore the eyestrain style so I'm stealing it now

But Being did not fall.

The sound of shoes against pavement rang through the alley as the people walked by without second thought. You couldn’t blame them, it wasn’t a pretty sight. Grime clung to the bricks, covering what little color they had. Litter and garbage decorated the dirt colored pavement, making it nearly impossible to walk without tripping and falling face first onto the ground. It was perfect.

The star dug through the dumpster, Being, he liked to call himself. Tossing sticky piles of half-eaten food behind him, he pulled himself out of the dumpster and sat on the ground with a huff. If food was so important to humans, why is it the only thing they threw away? He rested his head on the palm of his hand.

The only form of clothing he found was a tattered old suit. Of course, it’s pallet changed from shades of brown to shades of purples and yellows.
