A part of Add regretted that he would be able to learn about familiars and how to summon them, because if he could conjure a familiar, then he would easily make it one of a cat. In short, the white haired male was lonely and wanted the company of a cat. He missed the feeling of his fingers being able to run through soft fur, the warmth of a small body pressed up against him and just that gentle moment he could hold something so precious and not have to worry about anything that was going on. There was just something so calming about it.
However, by his luck, as he was attempting to force some food down for the sake of eating something rather than focusing on research notes, he saw it. A cat. One that seemed to be talking to a silver-haired girl, with ears much like his own. But it was a cat. Her familiar possibly?
The tracer had to hold himself back, but he was quickly giving into impulse. He couldn’t resist how adorable Puck looked. The spirit was so small, and the fur looked so soft and fluffy. Shifting from his seat, he quickly paced towards Emilia and Puck.
“…Your cat. It’s…Cute… — Can…I–Pet it…?”
There was hesitance in his voice, but by the look on his face you could see he was getting embarrassed. His cheeks were becoming flushed, even the tips of his ears turning red. Add bit the side of his cheek, shifting his weight in an anxious manner.
Honestly, she had no idea what to expect, though in hindsight, it definitely should have been a request to pet the gray furred spirit. People just couldn’t help themselves. But she wondered if that made her appear friendlier. More trustworthy. If only.
A small smile tugged at her lips as she glanced at Puck. “Well, can he?” she asked, tilting her head. Of course, she knew the spirit wouldn’t mind. In fact, she was pretty sure he enjoyed the attention that came with his appearance.
“Huhu!” Puck laughed, placing his paws on his hips as he floated up to the other’s eye level. “I suppose I could allow you to, just this once!”
Emilia almost rolled her eyes at his antics, but her smile widened. “My name is Emilia, and this is Puck. Though whatever he says, I’m pretty sure he enjoys the attention,” she chuckled softly, though Puck made a noise of protest.
“Well, I can’t deny it,” he remarked, shrugging before turning his gaze back to the male. “Just know my fur is softer than any other!”
