“That’s good.” He nodded.” Im a Starbucks kind of guy we can walk a few blocks to statrbucks if you like I know there’s a coffee spot right across the street but Starbucks is my number one.” He laughed.

“Starbucks?” She questioned, with light laughter. “Never knew someone that loves coffee to pick Starbucks as their number one.” Grace joked, beginning to walk along to the coffee shop. “Although, I must say, I do enjoy their chia.”

Hunter was always such a gentle soul, caring for others even strangers and he knew it could be off putting sometimes and he by no means wanted to make the woman feel like he was having ill intentions but he really was like a golden retriever, friendly and at times overbearing. He hated when his sister was right.

“I would love that, there’s an amazing little coffee truck that sits at the park today if you wanna go over there, it’s just right across the street.” Hunter offered “I hope I don’t come off as weird, I can be over friendly sometimes and I know that isn’t for everyone.”

“Sure, yeah, that would be great.” Grace said, looking in the direction of the coffee truck. Although Grace had always been wary of strangers, she had to put herself out there if she were to meet new people. She couldn’t settle down somewhere then not talk to anyone. Well, she could - but it would be a rather lonely life. 

The girl chuckled lightly at the man’s remark. “Just a little weird,” she joked, nudging him in his side. “I need to make some new friends and this is probably the best way - out in public where I can escape easily if need be.” The woman looked up at the man beside her, “You been here long?”

“oh my goodness, yes! i feel folklore and evermore are so underrated, i even listened to folklore after i had my boys because it gave me serenity in a hospital setting.” maya smiled brightly “what’s your favorite song off of the album?”

“I honestly shouldn’t even try because my clumsy ass is bound to be the one who steps in a dip and falls on my face.” she giggled “see my mom put me in like pageants and then i became a debutant so my mother had me in heels from the age of like four.” the woman said “He is, it’s a very exciting time in our household. I think he might be a little nervous but he’d never say anything, he’s made of steel I swear.” she remarked “If you’re too uncomfortable with that we can go across the street to the park, I just like making new friends and can be a little bold for some.” she admitted

“That’s so iconic.” Grace laughed, she couldn’t imagine giving birth and playing music afterward - she just pictured herself sleeping for days after. “Oh,” the woman paused, thinking about the girl’s question as though it was a matter of life or death. “Probably My Tears Ricochet - it always hits me hard. What’s yours?”

The brunette thought about what it would be like to be in a pageant. The idea of it always freaked Grace out a little - she always thought it was a competition about how good someone looked, something she was never one to involve herself in. “That’s dedication right there.” She said, thinking of a four year old in heels. “It’s crazy, but it’s dedication.” Grace laughed. “Oh, I don’t mind. I need to be a bit braver in making friends, I’ve just moved here and the only people I’ve spoken with are teenagers. I’m in need of some adult pals.”

“You know I’m actually looking for a coffee. Why don’t we get one right down the street? I really want a mocha frappe.” He chuckled.” If you wanna go that is, I’ll treat no worries.” He told her as pointed to the coffee spot right across the street.

“A mocha frappe - sounds interesting.” Grace joked, looking up at the person in front of her. “Sure, yeah. I’m down for a coffee.” She paused, looking at the shop across the road. “You don’t need to pay for mine though, honestly!” The girl began to walk across the road in the direction of the coffee shop. Although she had been in the town for a few weeks, she didn’t realise how many places there were to visit. Looking up at the coffee shop sign, Grace smiled slightly. “You recommend anything that isn’t your frappe? I’m usually a tea drinker.” She joked.

“ Don’t worry about it, it is want your fault.” He said and nodded.” I’m glad there was no damage to it.” He grinned softly.” Can I get you a coffee or a drink ?” He asked.

“Yeah, definitely no damage.” She said to the man, she was glad the stranger seemed to care so much about what had happened - it was a nice change. “Uh, sure?” Grace answered, not too sure whether or not she should go somewhere with the person. “Anywhere you like in particular?”

“ No I’m sorry I should’ve looked where I was going.. I’m fine, Are you alright ?” He asked and realized she dropped her stuff and reached down. To help her grab it.” Is your vinyl good? I didn’t damage it did I? I’ll get you a new one.”

“I should have looked as well, I’m so sorry.” She said to the person before her. Grace was extremely clumsy, but she didn’t think she was this bad to walk into strangers. “I’m fine, yeah. Just a klutz.” Grace laughed. “Yeah, it looks fine. You honestly don’t need to buy a new one, I should be getting you something.” She paused, looking at the person. “Is there anything you’re after?”

“Oh shit, girlie, I am sorry.” the woman said when she felt their bodies collide, she was one who didn’t really pay attention when she was on a mission and that mission was to check on the status of the Queen vinyl she’d ordered weeks ago, she got the email it was in the store and ready for her to pick up and she was excited as could be.

“I’m all good, are you okay? I’m such a klutz I swear.” the woman laughed

Grace shook her head, “Don’t be sorry, it was my bad!” Grace had always been clumsy, walking into everything and she was constantly covered in bruises. She was surprised she made it this far. The woman looked down at her vinyl, still extremely happy she bought it - if anything, this added character to her buying experience. 

“I’m good, yeah! Same, honestly.” She told the woman, chuckling lightly. “Can I get you anything as an apology? I’m really so sorry about this.” Grace said, smiling gently to the stranger.

maya was on the hunt for an old Elvis vinyl for her husband and she’d gotten to the record store, she was giddy that when she called they had it, she’d left her two boys at home with their father so she was enjoying the little errand day to herself and she bumped into the woman. “Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry, sugar, I wasn’t even paying attention.” she said with a soft tone to her voice.

“I’m all good, are you okay? Did your vinyl get damaged? I can replace it if it did.” she said nervously

“I wasn’t paying attention either, I was far too focused on my vinyl.” The brunette said to the woman in front of her. Grace always seemed to have her head somewhere else - she was a clumsy person after all. 

The woman nodded, “I’m good, yeah, I’m used to being a klutz!”, she joked. Grace looked down at her vinyl, checking it over quickly. “No, no. I think it looks fine? Even if it was damaged, I wouldn’t let you replace it.” She told the woman, a light smile on her face. “Can I get you anything you were looking for? Just as an apology for all of this?” Grace suggested to the woman.

Hunter was on the venture to find a new artist to listen to, he’d always challenged himself to it each month and he was headed into the record store when he collided with the smaller female and his cheeks instantly flushed a rose color “It’s this tame tall structure of mine, i swear i need to come with a warning sign.” the man laughed as he leaned down to pick up her vinyl and handed it back to her.

“I’m Hunter and I’m the sorry one here, I didn’t even bother to watch where I was going either, I’m all good, are you okay? Any damage to your vinyl?” he asked

“Honestly, I’m the one that needs to come with a warning sign! I should have seen you, you’re not hard to miss after all!” The girl chuckled, shaking her head slightly. She was an extremely clumsy person, always walking into things or, well, people. Grace also usually always forgot how small she actually was.

“I’m good, thanks, yeah. No damage I don’t think!” Grace told the person before her. “I wasn’t watching either, honestly, it’s all good! It’s my bad!” Grace paused, looking up at the person properly. “I’m Grace, nice to meet you.” She said, putting her hand out.

He looked at the smaller figure.” Sorry I’m massive like 6’4.” He laughed.” I should’ve look where I was going. Is you’re Vinyl okay?” He asked her watched her.” I hope I didn’t ruin it or anything.”

Grace chuckled, shaking her head. “I really should have seen you then!” She looked down at her vinyl, checking it out briefly. “I’m sure it’s fine, honestly! It looks it anyway!” The girl said, trying her best to reassure the stranger. “Are you hurt at all? I’m so sorry, I’m honestly a klutz.”

dylan had been on the search for his favorite blink-182 album on vinyl , he had the rest but those one eluded him and he had no idea that his friend in the record shop would come through so he was happily walking into the store when he bumped into the woman and he instantly felt just awful.

“ oh shit , i am so sorry , let me help you. ” dylan said as he picked up the vinyl “ folklore , very nice , it’s one of my sisters favorites and i admit she got me hooked on this one too. ” he smiled “ i’m all good , are you okay ? i can buy you another copy if i damaged it with my lack of attentiveness. ”

Grace blushed as soon as soon as the person before her mentioned the name of the vinyl. She couldn’t help it, if she felt embarrassed in a situation, her face became coloured like tomatoes. The brown haired girl chuckled in agreement, “I’m glad. Because if you said otherwise, I’d have to make you listen to it.” 

The girl nodded in response to the person before her. “I’m good yeah, thanks. You honestly don’t need to, it was more my fault!” She exclaimed, she didn’t want anyone to buy anything for her, especially as she felt it was her fault. “If anything, I need to buy whatever you’re getting.” She paused, looking up at the person. “You are getting something, aren’t you?”

The brown haired girl rummaged through the vinyl bins, looking for something that spoke to her. She had almost given up home until - there it was, Folklore deluxe album. She snatched it up and bought it straight away. Clutching her vinyl in her hands, she left the shop rather quickly, not noticing her surroundings. Grace bumped into someone and the vinyl fell out of her hands, “Fuck!”. Grace’s cheeks became bright red at her remark, looking up at the person before her. “I am so sorry. I didn’t look where I was going. Are you okay?”
