Deserted cabin? That’ll only work for so long, no matter how strong you are.” He grunted as he was knocked to his knees. Ezra scoffed. “Like a beast needs an excuse to torture me? I’m not one of your king so you are not my king.”

The boy was lying. He knew it to be true. He could sense the power in the other, smell the magic in his veins, and he knew that he was indeed capable of great destruction here. “Now, who am I?”
