Nanako Aizawa, who originally retired from being a race queen at the end of the 2023 Super GT and Super Taikyu seasons, has suddenly donned a Flex Girl uniform as an emcee at the Flex Show Aikawa Racing with Toyo Tires Conference in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, this weekend.
Since her retirement, she mostly works as a talento and gravure model. One of my favourite models from the 2023 season in particular, she was a member of ZENTsweeties and raffinee Lady, which the later was easily the greatest line up of race queens/model talent in that unit's history and easily the best race queen team in the 2023 season.
I suspect this is not a return to being a race queen for Nanako, however it is really nice to see her back in a uniform, even if it is a one off event.
