Much better words to hear than âgreatest disappointmentâ. But she never displayed this much grief over such a thing.
"Oh. Thatâs good that you got to see the real ones and be kinda happy about it. I uhâŚI mean yeah itâs really good, right?"
         Thereâs the faintest hint of a smile and it almost feels nice. Itâs been too long since sheâs had reason to be happy. Even harder now trapped beneath the surface, not a ray of sunlight to be found and only the nightmare songs of the insane to serve as music.
                 But this oneâs trying too.
        Outclassed, outmatched and somehow he still treks on. An uphill struggle while chained, prevailing against another would-be tyrant. His hope is his strength and his hope is what makes him ever so naïve.
        âHow I feel about my father is a complication that Iâm sure will take the better part of a century to decipher.
              But that was ever the way with that man.
                  Nothing could ever be simple.
