( couldn't find a gender / flag that's JUST a thing—it usually being used as a suffix to genders—so, decided to handle that myself :D )

THE MEANING FOR THE FLAG:

Black and white represent existential concepts like 'absence' to show an internal disconnect, the other colors don't really mean anything my friend just asked for it to be there

The paper-bag masks a metaphor for the experience of trying to fit into a human society. For someone who feels fundamentally disconnected from humanity, that it feels like a disguise or an act. The mask symbolizes this mandatory disguise—combined with the question mark, which represents the isolation of constantly questioning where you belong, in a human society

thingie is resting its flag-making muscles but it wants to come online quickly just to say: The environment both online and in-person is growing increasingly hostile towards POC and particularly Black POC (more than usual, anyway). Please stay close to and support your Black loved ones and ensure you are staying educated on recent news, racial biases, and microaggressions.

Do not allow people to downplay racism and speak over the voices of those impacted by it. Ensure you are extending care where you can, and if you are not in community with POC... Examine why!!! When times are rough, everyone deserves a safe place and something to lean on.
