also i saw a few people mentioning venti's cutiemark, and i want to talk about the reason his is still anemo while zhongli gave himself something more "normal" for this regular pony disguise. barbatos seems to be regarded as half-real half-legend in the lore itself, as there are people who don't fully believe in or aren't certain of his existence and equate him more to the winds themselves than an entity that has a tangible form. so in this AU "barbatos" the alicorn is also treated as a legend, like some of the pillars (rockhoof, mistmane, etc.) in the mlp series were, so venti feels a little more lax about still brandishing his anemo cutiemark, and laughs off any questions about it as simply a coincidence.
