Is anyone else tired of constantly having to kill people? How are you guys even reaching your daily quota? I swear I'm barely managing to meet the required kills per day, and I know I can't be the only one struggling. It's like no one wants to talk about how much labor goes into completing a kill. Everyone's too afraid to admit that they're tired, too ashamed of what the honorable and all powerful supreme Lord of darkness would think of them if they knew. But the truth is, it's exhausting to not only be expected to execute the physically taxing act of killing, but to also have to take on the invisible labor that no one seems to even acknowledge. Your mission doesn't just include the time you spend slitting a man's throat. It's also the work we don't talk about, what those who don't follow the killing path seem to take for granted. It's deciding who to kill, tracking each target, memorizing the target's daily routine, analyzing the target's weaknesses, knowing when AND where they're most vulnerable, choosing the location to commit the act, deciphering the environment's advantages and using that knowledge to execute an effective strategy that both swiftly and cruelly ends your target's life. You think, you'd like to take your time to perfect your work and make every kill something that honors the tenets of the Killing Path, but there's just not enough time. We're overworked, forced to compromise quality in order to kill as many people as possible. So you just try to kill as cruelly as you can in the short time your busy schedule will allow. And then they're dead, but you just don't feel fulfilled, knowing you could have done better.
And then there's the exit plan on top of all of that, which can put a lot of added stress on some people because a lot of us are neurodivergent and struggle to multitask. Many people with adhd simply lack the executive function required to effectively complete their after-kill duties. Studies have shown that this population spends a higher than average amount of time at the scene post-kill, due to their failure to recall the details of their plan, and also as a result of their tendency to procrastinate even getting up to walk away from the scene of the crime. Some with more severe forms of adhd might even fail to notice how much time has passed and continue to stab bludgeon or beat their victim long after they've already perished, due to hyperfocusing on the act of killing.
This puts them at greater risk of work-related injuries, as they may wait until a witness walks in on the scene, thus forcing them to improvise an unplanned kill, something most people are not experienced enough to do without risk of serious injury. This is because it puts added stress on your killing organ, causing inflammation and risking permanent injury to it, potentially even causing a blockage in your killing meridians as a dangerous amount of killing intent continues to build. This results in a blockage of concentrated killing intent, which hardens and turns into what's known as a killing stone. Immediate surgery is needed to remove the killing stone so that your killing meridians are not severed.
Unfortunately, this surgery is not without risks, as it frequently attracts followers of the Killing Path who seek to take your killing stone and use it to further their own power. Many will travel great distances to secure a killing stone, which they will rip it out of your killing cavity, an act that you will not survive. Rarely, if you are particularly fortunate, they might take pity on you and land a swift strike to your killing heart so that you need't suffer long, though this will probably be something that they do not particularly care about. You will be left to wait until your 3 evil souls and 7 killing souls eventually scatter.
At this point, a fight will ensue between those walking the Killing Path, seeking out this rare treasure in hopes it allows them to quickly progress through the killing stages and force a breakthrough, which they hope will bring them closer to cultivating a Killing Soul. Yes, with so much at stake, your body will take quite a beating in the next several weeks as they fight it out without regard to frivolous concerns of whose remains are where and which mangled heaps of flesh came from which body. You may wonder why that matters when you surely would have succumbed by now. But you should know that there's actually a reason why I want to caution you against letting your corpse be beaten into a paste and ultimately a fine mist, filling the lungs of those who turned you into such a state as their fierce struggle in search of greater power continues still.
It's because there's been tales of a ghost said to steal corpses in the dead of night, looking for unique and affordable decorations to take home and add to her collection. When someone dies in a new and exciting way, she whisks them away to her cave, where she then displays the body on the wall. And it's sadly not a pretty sight due to the lack of natural light and her limited knowledge of interior design. And I don't warn you of her lack of aesthetic sense merely because of how much shame it would bring for your remains to be desecrated in such a way. There's actually a good reason why you don't want your remains to be put on display in her home.
It's said that the heavens frown on those who lack an understanding of the basic elements of design, and so all who should dare involve themselves in such poorly planned displays which fail to tie together the selected artworks in a way that does the collection justice and coherently expresses a common theme to provoke the viewer's thought and effectively create a dialogue between the audience and artwork as well as the space they inhabit together, would be severely punished.
The heavens literally hate that kind of thing, so for the crime of being an unwilling participant in this trainwreck of an exhibition, they send down a tribulation which damages your souls and effectively turns them into ant souls, condemning you to be reborn as an ant. You must suffer through countless rebirths and experience lifetimes as many of Earth's magnificent creatures, until you've finally managed to provide enough beauty to gift the world and make up for all the ugly you put into it.
In conclusion, that's why I think we should push our representatives to lower the required amount of people we need to kill each day, in order to recognize the struggles of people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The rate at which they expect us to kill people is just not possible for many people, who rely on kill tokens given to them by their families, friends, and through crowdfunding to survive. This would address the issue of students bullying their peers for their lunch kill tokens.
This would also put an end to ridiculous trends like the recent kill stealing prank that's gone viral on tiktok, which teenagers are calling "free kill tokens hack" with claims that it "really works". In these videos, delinquents can be seen bullying their creepier classmates into getting their killing done for them. Groups of teenagers with poor work ethic will threaten a designated "kill servant" to do their work for them. They target the quiet, creepier kids who don't fit in, and who achieve higher grades thanks to the time freed up for studying by not really having much else going on. These easy victims are picked because they are more likely to be talented at killing other human beings while also lacking the self respect necessary to refuse.
Several bullies will leech off the killing of one target, barely lifting a finger even just to help hold down the target's flailing limbs. They often laugh as their victim has to kill dozens of people all by themselves, while their bullies jeer and make disparaging remarks about how their technique "looks gay". When we investigated these incidents further, we found that this was not actually true in at least 15% of cases.
Once their bullies are satisfied with all the killing done, they take most of the kill tokens and only leave the little creep with a few measly low-rank tokens of lesser value, as these kill tokens are earned by killing easy targets like children and really old people. This causes the bully victim to have low self esteem, as their parents often react negatively when they ask about how many people they've killed today. Often, parents of these kids will fail to recognize the signs their child is being bullied, mistaking the drop in performance for signs of drug abuse, and they instead resort to beating their children. This can continue undetected because the child may be embarrassed to admit they're being bullied, and they fear being asked uncomfortable questions like "Why don't you just kill them?" It's a complex issue, as their low self esteem might cause them to feel too embarrassed to initiate a kill, worried people might find the way they kill to be silly or effeminate.
While politicians debate on whether teaming up for cooperative killing sprees should be more strictly regulated or even made illegal, there's a much more obvious solution that doesn't punish everyone for the crimes of a few. We need to make it so that kids aren't so pressured to kill so often, and can focus on their studies. If we allow them room to grow at their own pace, they could absorb more of what they learn in class, and become more efficient killers in the future. I'm certain that many children, if not under so much pressure, would even grow to develop a passion for killing on their own, motivating them to operate at a high kill rate even without threat of incarceration. With our children being given the chance to flourish, we could more easily identify prodigies and geniuses to nourish as well as identify which children to abandon as lost causes, potentially saving millions in resources that would have been wasted on them. As a result, we could proudly welcome more talented and eager killers into the workforce. And that's why I believe we should stop pushing the narrative that you're not a useful member of society if you can't manage to kill 10 people every single day. Lower the number of people we're required to kill each day, and I'm certain we would see our society being to thrive, dismantling ableist laws without having to sacrifice our nations kill rate.
