She Wore Flowers In Her Hair

“Probably to change something,” it was either that or to learn something.  Although the only thing he’s learned so far is that being without powers sucks.  He could have assumed that without having to experience it.

He laughed when she didn’t wait for him to answer if it was okay to ask it.  "I do,“ he wasn’t ashamed to admit that.  He was a vampire.  "Not often.  I don’t need blood the same way a full vampires does.”  He still needed it occasionally to survive but could go longer without it.  It wasn’t something he had to answer before.

“Oh,” she wasn’t sure why she was surprised by it; They nymph knew there were decent vampires around, however she was only knew those who claimed to feed only on blood bags and not humans. “Do you ask them first or do you go all Jack the reaper on them?...I’m not scared by the way...”   She gulped. “Just curious. Am I being rude?”

Ellis laughed as he shook his head at her bat comment.  "I have other ways of getting out of trouble,“ as being half vampire meant he didn’t have the ability to turn into a bat.  Pretty unlucky of him because it could get him out of a lot of troubling situations.  "Glad to be out of the underworld though.  It’s not my ideal place to meet new people.”

“It’s not my ideal anything.” Posy shrugged a smile still hanging on her lips. “I just wish I knew why I got dragged here anyway.” She remained silent for a moment, biting her lips. “Can I ask you something personal?” without really waiting for his consent, she went ahead and opened her mouth. “Do you feed on people?...” the tactless nymph gestured two fingers as if they were her fangs, to dramatize her question. 

Sam couldn’t say that she wasn’t happy to see Posy.  As nice as it was to have her family there some times a girl needed her friends.  Posy definitely being one of those friends she needed.  She hugged her tightly as still somewhat stunned that she was in the past too.  "I’m not sure when we’ll be able to get back home,“ she said with a soft smile.  "You forget that I’m used to you.”  There was no way she could out talk Posy.  "But we’re going to be stuck in 2007 for a while.  You should probably start to get used to it.“

“But why?” Posy released her from her tight embrace and looked at her friend confused. “Can’t you cast a spell or something?” she nudged her with her elbow. The nymph was sure that seeing her friend meant she was just moments away from getting home but it turns out that Sam wasn’t the answer and was just as stuck there as she was. 

“And here I thought it was just going to be family in the past,” Sam said as she started to walk up to Posy.  She had already convinced herself that she wouldn’t see her friends again for a while. She certainly didn’t expect to see Posy in 2007.   Hell, she wasn’t sure why she expected to see anyone in 2007 but family seemed to be the target.  That was why she almost didn’t take a second look when she walked by the familiar wood nymph.  “How did you get here?”  As if she knew how she got there. @xbloomingx​

“Surprise!!! I have no idea!!” the nymph beamed at her friend, waving all excited. “I kinda like this time, there’s a lot more green around..” She hugged Sam all too tightly. “But I’d like to get back home. Do you think we can go back home? Can you take us home? Am I talking too much?? I think I’m just excited to see a familiar face from the future! Take us home!” 

Ellis couldn’t say that he wasn’t happy to see the brunette woman.  Probably because the last time he saw her they were in the underworld.  That wasn’t exactly a safe place for anyone to be.  Even as a vampire he didn’t want to be down there.  “It looks like you were able to get out alright,” he said with a soft smile.  "You okay?“ @xbloomingx​

Posy’s attention was set on the flowers, as if she was listening to them before looking up at Ellis, her lips stretching into a smile. “I always seem to make it out. You’d be amazed by the amount of times I get into trouble!”

The Nymph shook her head, her eyes narrowing in confusion for a moment. He sensed... different. “How did you end up here?” she asked, looking around making sure no one else heard her. “Has this day been a disaster for you too?...” 

“I’m not sure, probably not though,” Wesley wouldn’t be but he figured some demons wouldn’t question it.  "Do you know why you were dragged here?“  It wasn’t everyday people were summoned to the underworld against their will.  "I’ll do what I can.”  He wasn’t too worried about being in the underworld.  Manticores were pretty much at home in the underworld.

“I think that being dragged here is the least of my worries... I’m not even sure I’m in the right year if that makes any sense...” As if anything did? “I was minding my own business when all hell broke loose... Literally. Had a fight with a demon and I found myself here...”  Suddenly she tilted her head and looked at him. “Do you come here often?...” 

Sam couldn’t say that she disagreed with that remark.  This was not funny at all.  She wasn’t even sure where to begin in the underworld.  She had a few vials of potions but not enough if they bumped into too many demons.  Pretty much if they were just the weaker ones that the potions would be remotely helpful.  "Since when are demons civilized?“ she asked as she looked over to the brunette.

“Since never, but hey, it doesn’t hurt asking, right?” The nymph was quickly in a good mood again, hardly ever pouting for long, even if it wasn’t a great time or place to be cheery.

Wesley was trying to figure out what was going on.  It seemed logical to check out the underworld.  It wasn’t as if he was in too much danger down there.  Since he was from the future all that demons would be able to sense was that he was part manticore.  

“Hello?” he replied in a confused tone after hearing someone else’s voice.  One that he didn’t expected down there.  He followed the sound of the voice until he found the woman.  "Are you okay?“  He wasn’t sure why she was down there but if he could tell that she shouldn’t be there he expected any demon could.

Was he a demon too? it’ll be odd for one to ask her if she was okay. Posy stared confused for a few seconds; her head tilted to one side and her dark hair falling over her shoulder. 

“Ummm, would anyone be okay with being dragged here?” she shrugged and showed him her wrists that were tied up. He didn’t look like he belonged there either which threw Posy off - he was either an excellent demon actor or he simply wasn't one. 

“Mind giving a gal some help?”
